Advanced Nutrients PM/PPM Perfect is Awesome!

Bizarre. They have totally new labels. Plus if I now add 50 OZ to a 100 gallon res as per instructions compared to the 30 oz the feeding calculator had on it for this exact line up previously. PLUS the big bud and Overdrive you use like half as much. Definetly a new formula I cant believe it still doesnt have this PPH perfect yet. Oh plus they were handing out new PPM/PH perfect brochures to my store for their lineup. All I can say then is the stuff works amazingly well with no PH adjustments at all. Guess I better get back in there and adjust my PH again.....
why you think just cuz they have brochures its in the new bottles. im sure it doesnt say anything about ph/ppm perfect on it

I find this thread to be BS cus I just today the 24th got off the phone with them and they still are not shiping the new
PH pefect formula to the US its only in canada so how are you US people geting it?

hey i didnt go into reading this too much, but i have been using the sensibloom ph perfect with all the AN suppliments and none contain iron. i have had bad iron defic. and none of their products contain iron. have you seen this same yellowing and dying growth?

the ph and ppm is great, but the lack of iron is just blatenly retarded on their part.

not sure about this Iron def. I have not seen any yellowing or dying growth, my shit looks better than anything ive done with GH and the
size and sugar is crazy!! ive got nothing bad to say about AN and when I have Q I call them and get answers everytime. and my PH is
rock solid. Ive read a bunch of stuff in hightime about this Iron thing but Im thinking you might have a different issue cus this Iron thing
seen like BS to me

I havent used AN in a long time (funny I started this thread too) and I never had any difficiencies at all with Sensi Bloom. Only problem I ever had with their product was the price .... Hence I moved on to the products that work as well for less then half the cost.

i feel like 90% of the people that say that AN sucks either have never tried it or have used way too much to the point of overfertilization. if you go off their nutrient calculator, you will burn the shit out of your plants.

THey calculate ppm by EC x 700 = ppm when the standard for most devices and people is EC x 500 = ppm

this means that most people over-fertilize by around 30% if they do not use the corrected ppm scale!

Their nutrient calculator also has some big errors-
For vegging, they say a 1040ppm is a 2.4EC when really 2.4EC = 1680ppm!
for flowering, they say a 1040ppm is 1.48EC which is what it should be.

here are 2 snap shots directly off AN's website showing the discrepancy

Well, I always use about 25% less because I actually watch my numbers of my grow.

I mean, the truth is that with ANY nutes, you will have people who just want things to be easy as can be. And while that's certainly that sounds like a good idea, it isn't going to help you learn anything about growing.

I think the lesson here is that growers need to be more responsible and not just read labels. Good growers are going to also spot nute problems before they turn into anything major.

When I hear that people are just blindly following things, that's strikes me as odd. I mean, I know I listened to the labels when I first started, but the truth is that I also learned how to grow by watching what was happening, even though I didn't realize what they meant. :)

I think growers need to stop being so whiny about the fact that the nute companies aren't giving them all of the answers. It's not like the nute companies are leaning over them and telling them to f-k up their grows.

In the end, it's the grower that's the one that calls the shots. And if you want to change things up, YOU CAN. The label on a bottle doesn't mean that you need to follow it. LOL

ANyone know anything about this stuff? What does it change the PH level too? What does it do to the water? I notice when I mix in part A, my air bubbles get REALLY big coming out of the air stones. Weird shit! The bubbles are usually VERY tiny coming out of the air stones, when you first add Part A, they get really big? Isnt that crazy?? After a few hours they seem to return to normal size...but WTF???

Tech support from AN is USELESS BTW, dont waste your time, all they EVER answer back with is "follow the online calculator" no matter what the question....guess even they do not know anything about their own products! WORTHLESS! And if do follow there EXPERT advice you will probably end up killing your plants!

Think I am the only one that thinks they suck??? Even retailers are getting sick of AN's crap! Check what the retailer from Florida out had to say about them......and this is NOT the only shop that complain about them as there are others as well....

Ya, I get that much....have you used it in DWC or RDWC systems with airstones? It does something very very strange to the water that actually changes the size of the bubbles coming out of the air stones. It is kind of hard to describe but the strangest thing I think I have seen in DWC....there is even this strange hissing like noise that you can hear that the air stones make...after several hours it will dissipate very slowly and go away and the bubbles return to normal size......very very strange.....I would really like to know what the hell is going on here.....there seems to be very little information on the PH perfect formula being used in DWC or RDWC....

I'm not too sure how it makes sense their ppm perfect. It's the fact of how many nutes and how much of each you put in to effect your parts per million, I thought. Like adding big bud and overdrive together. Your ppm would be through the roof. I'm not trying to hate I'm just a little confused on how that makes sense.

I'm glad to hear that their nutes get taken up in a wider range of ph levels then just 5.9-6.9
My purified water is still a bit acidic but only around 5-5.5 (in fox farms ocean Forrest soil) which helps buffer my ph around 5.9 I believe. As far as advanced nutrients go, I love them. Many people seem to dislike advanced nutrients without any reason except they're expensive. I'm currently using sensi bloom a+b , budswel super tea, big bud, carbo load, b-52 and will be using overdrive when the time comes.
