Wonder who did the test and more importantly, who paid for it?

AN isn't bad, but nowhere near worth what they charge for the stuff.

But, spend your $$$ as you see fit and decide for yourself.

Dunno I like canna, but I got advice from speedy bout canna flores not being organic,so pointless in soil,I use biobizz allmix and biobizz grow, got canna cause heard great things bout it but that big mike reckons only 2 nute companys test their products on actual weed plants his and some other,I dont believe that for a minute but advanced is cheap on ebay in the uk same price as canna for grow and bloom 1 litre bottles,I might try it when my nutes are finished, just wondered if anybodys used it and seen a diffrence and do you have to buy the whole range?

So, let me jump in here.

I really like the Advanced Nutrients lineup, though I have to admit I haven't really used any other products.

I do know that you can use it with other products and that you certainly don't have to use all of the products they make. That would be ridiculous. I mean, expert growers, sure, they can use all of that, but I don't have the money or the time to deal with all of the measuring you would have to do and all of the things you'd have to keep track of.

Eek.

Stick with a few of the basics:

A base nute - I like Sensi A&B
Voodoo Juice
Big Bud
Sometimes Bud Candy

Everything else is just icing on the cake, but you don't have to use every single thing. Though you have to admit that the results you see are addictive, so you might end up using more than just the basics after a while.

About that AN challenge, yeah, you can question any findings from a company as you're never quite sure how they did the study, whether it was done right, etc. At the same time, I've seen some great results with AN, so I'm going to go ahead and trust them.

You do what you like.:weed:

I use the full AN organic line.... Iguana Grow/Bloom, Sensizym, Humic/Fulvic, Organic B, Pirahna and Tarantula. I don't use the Voodoo - too much money, though I know it would be worth it.... Eventually.

I also use Big Bud during the beginning of flowering and Overdrive at the end, so I am not fully organic. I could tell right away that AN was the best. My plants are happy with it. The only issue I have seen is every once in a while, I need to give them a little blast of the Micro too...

As for the cost, I thought at first it was too much, but I'm in soil so I only need to use a small amount per feeding. I just bought a new liter of each and won't need more for about 2 seasons. (16-24 plants per) so in the end, it's worth it. If only they made like 12 oz bottles...???

Just got off the phone with a tech rep. From AN and he informed me that the calculator on there website is being redone as we speak, something about some issues they were having with it so keep an eye open for an updated version or somehing compleatly new. And as always great customer support.

I use GH for my base, Purple Maxx (a.k.a. Snowstorm) and I freaking love it, the trichomes blow up and the purple is a people pleaser, then about 3-4 weeks before harvest use Gravity for a week and see those buds grow and get thick, and I am using Kushie Kush (An) during the whole flowering process love the 0-1-17 lots of sugars but first cycle with the KK so excited to see if its hype or not. So far the humboldt line has treated me very well, and I recommend it to my closest bro's.

It’s funny you put it like that – the way forward. One of the main reasons I like AN is that they’re looking forward more than some of the other nute companies that won’t support legalization and such. Sure, they are a bit out there with their marketing at times, but I’m not gullible so I’m not afraid that their ads are going to make me do something I don’t want to do.

And I’d second what oaksterdamn31 said. Stick with a few basics, don’t overcomplicate things trying to use everything they make. I started out simple and added one thing here, one thing there. MUCH easier that way.

Yea if you look at the PPM EC area it will state a certain PPM and EC depending on the week . Now if you add a week to the schedule you will notice that the EC value will change but the PPM doesn't! FAIL.

And this is the reason I went with Dutch Master Gold instead of AN. Also, a side by side comparison done on this site finalized my decision.

https://www.rollitup.org/organics/192547-dutch-master-gold-products-organic.html

and you can check my journal for my plants. Mine are even bigger and bushier than the ones in the comparison because I am also using their Gold Line Liquid Light and Penterator Gold for foliar feeding. Also I have seen many a garden using either or and there is a difference in yields.

I never recommend anyone use what I use, I recommend you do your own research rather than listen to everyone else.

Good Luck
