OK SO THERES ALOT OF SUPER CROPPING AND LSTING AND LOLLIPOPPING AND FIMING AND TOPPING GOING ON BUT THERES SOMETHING A FRIEND RECENTLY TOLD ME ABOUT THAT I NEVER TRIED AND ITS VERRRYYYY SIMPLE.!

Technique :
so what he said you do is cut the main stem down the middle

hes saids this will make ur plant very sturdy and have two main tops that could each produce 4 to total 8 tops from topping both of the sides that split when you cut it..

THIS SOUNDS VERY INTERESTING HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED THIS?? THANKS FOR UR INPUT STAY HIGH!!

I did it accidentally one time. Well, it was more tearing down the center then cutting. I was LST'ing a plant that somehow split itself into two main colas without any topping fimming or anything. It was weird because it grew about a 8 inch length of flat stem before splitting into two main colas. I literally mean flat. Like an inch wide but only 1/4 inch thick. It basically turned out similar to what would have resulted had I just topped it only it looked as though the plant did it itself. Instead of a main cola, it was a big Y shape, very symmetrical (unlike the double colas you get from topping). Well the way I accidentally tore it was from trying to LST both "Y" tips away from each other, resulting in a split right down the center of the stalk, similar to splitting a log in half long ways. After I tore it, I had to tape it all up but after a week it healed and I took the tape off. Wish I had photos!

IDK about that, but sometimes I take cuttings so that they grow two main stems. It looks like two seperate plants growing in the same pot.
