Advantages of trimming...

what are my advantages if i trim my plants... does it produce denser folige... or will i be wasting my time with it... im growing two using lst method... and i was intrested in trimming in a couple of my other plants... what are some good techniques for doing this...

yes it does produce denser growth you need to top those babies and get a hell of a lot more light on them. Are those 6500 K tubes ?

ya there 6500k bulbs... and there about 3 to 4 inches at most on the plants three are touching the bulbs... and im thinking of moving to mh in a 5x5 space... any suggestions on wattage for that...

on a 5x5 area, assuming you've got good ventilation, I'd throw (1) 1000w mh/hps combo ballast in there and have some real fun

yeah,what he said. your florescents would work for veging if you had the tubes closer together and a lot more.

ya the tubes are working right now but im going to invest into getting a 1000w helilux blue mh and 1000w hps...
