Advice on going cob build vs. second 315 lec.

hello! Im currently growing using a 315w lec in a 3.5x4.5 space and is working beautifully. I really do want to get into the world of COB LED's, but it is extremely overwhelming trying to learn how all this works, how much I need, equipment I need, color combinations/areangment... all that stuff. For my next grow, I will be utilizing another 4x4 space in my shed, and possibly even a 4.5x6.5(could pish it to 7'). I would like to turn my current grow space into a veg area with a shelf/rack system for clones, or maybe a room for clones/mothers, and a extra veg space if needed. The additional room will be primarily for flowering, or maybe to use as a veg room for a few weeks before flittpong to flower. I would like to get some sort of perpetual harvest system going, but am still coming up with the bast way to do this. That is one reason I have come here for advice.
My other reason is to ask a out efficiency/cost of cob led vs. lec. I will be purchasing a other light within the next month or so, and I have been debating on whether I want to get a second 315 lec or go with a cob led. What would be the best use of my money? Im thinking in the veg room (or mother/clone room [both?]) I can run one 315 lec because these things have been killing it in my veg cycle, or I can just run my 4' fluorescent t5 fixture, or build a second small cob led? In my flowering room I can either run 2 315 lec's, or one 315 lec + one cob led. Or just build one big con led to fill the while 4x4 flowering room?
As you can tell Im a little confused as to what the bestbuse of my moneybwould be. The lec 315 are around $500 (can prob find one around $450). Could I build either one big one to cover a 4x4 veg/flower area, or 2 small ones (one to use in conjunction with my 315, one to use in my veg room) for around the same price or a little more and get better efficiency/product??
I just really need someone with a lot of knowledge about led's and how to configure a grow room to get the best use of my space while also growing the best product.
Im sure Ive left some stuff out, but Ive included pictures of my shed space where I grow, along with a roughly drawn floor plan of the space. Im sorry, Im no architect and I do all of my internet usage on my phone making it impossible to make this diagram digitally lol.
The height of all the rooms is 8'.
It all needs to be cleaned out and set up obviously.
Entry area and may possibly use this larger area:

The second 4x4 space I will definitely be using:

My current room thatvIm thinking of using as a veg room only or mother/clone room, or both

Rough floor plan. The inner doors will be replaced with either plastic tarp with zippers or a sliding door. The door swing takes up a lot of space.

If the COB LED is the way to go for my bestvuse of space and money. I will need to find someone to kind of guide me through the process of building one of these things. It seems fairly straight forward... But theres a lot of technical work that goes into figuring out exactly what I need and how to arrange the lights to get the best desults for my space.

Oh and by the way, we have all the tools required to do any metal or wood work required. Welding, cutting, drilling. We have the capabilies to build a pretty solid rig here. Its the electrical and the math I'm not great with. I have built a gaming PC before... This looks relatively similar in terms of wiring/components. I thought I should mention this as it would probably factor into the cost considering we can do pretty much everything from base materials instead of ordering pre-built cases or anything. I also have an older 1000w hps hood I may be willing to sacrafice to this ;)

I'd say do a 12 cob system. Use 3 hlg 240h-c1750B meanwell driver for each string of 4. That will rock a 4x4. Then just keep using your LEC for veg. You wanna flower all cobs, trust me.
I oly use 8 on 2 of those drivers and love it. Another 4 would be great.

Thanks for the tip on which drivers to use. I dunno man... I really want to build one of these its just sooooo much to learn. I know almost nothing about how to wire it or set it up. Ive been reading a bit, bit its a pretty daunting task. Maybe I will start small with a one or two led pannel for a seedling/clone area, then move on. Unless I have someone to kind of guide me through the entire process, I feel like Id be better off just getting another lec. I would need someone to have a provate conversation with me and go over all the components to order, the heatsinks, how to set it all up and wire it, and really get into all the details. Ive been reading a bit and watching some youtube vids on diy cobs but its a LOT when your starting off almost completely ignorant of electronics lol.

It's so easy dude especiallywith the new pre drilled heatsinks. It's seriously stupid easy.

I was checking these guys out actually. I just wasn't sure if it would be more economical to do it all myself rather than get one pre-wired from them. Ill have to start making a list of parts and compare prices.
I'd use the 1750ma drivers over the 1400

Roughly how much would a 12 cob set up cost me if I were to build from scratch? My budget right now is about $600 which is why I was looking at a second lec. If I could build a cob for a similar price that will be more effective, thats what I will do. I think it would be a fun project as well. I could always build one that fits my budget and add onto it though. Thats what I like about these.

Ok, so for around $600 I could easily build something that will cover a 3x3 well and use it in combination with my lec? At least until I can either add onto the cob to make it cover 4x4 at a later time. I can always add to it, so Im in no hurry to get it done right at this moment. It will be used for flowering my next grow, which will be around October or November. I was looking at adding to my current flowering cycle, but in the time it will take me to get the part and build it, I will have finished this current run anyways. Or... I could just save a bit longer. I definitely do not want to go with any cheap components.

Bro, just get 2 6 cob kits and use it only for flowering. You won't regret it. Either that, or 8 like me at a higher amperage. You gain 20% more lumens and intensity from 1400 to 1750 mA.
I would love to, but thats a bit outside my budget at the moment. Maybe Ill get one now, and another later. If I can't get a second by the time my next flowering rolls around I can still use it in combination with my 315.

Lec is not the right spectrum for flowering. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
