Advice to max yield

Hello, I currently on my first grow, and my plant is looking a little, skinny. I know it has a few more weeks to flower, but I thought there would be more by now. Any advice on how I can get my yield up? and also any predictions on how long till I need to harvest. P.S. my budget is limited, right now im just learning and expirmenting. so my set up is not the best in the world. I have CFL lights, some flowering fert from lowes, and a full heart haha. Any advice anyone can give is helpful, even future investments in my hobby. WP_20130419_001.jpgWP_20130419_007.jpgWP_20130419_008.jpgWP_20130419_011.jpg

You wont get anything worth a crap with CFL regardless of what the handful of CFL lovers tell you.
What do you think that might be, 3 or 4 grams? A lot of time, money, risk for a half of a quarter of weed...

Supercrop of course, but longer veg---then lastly bigger pots = larger roots, and larger roots = more fruit.

To get yield up [from what you have]
1-start with great genetics...
2-The most light you can afford...
3-longer veg time [super crop/fim/topping-all add to your veg time]
4-and propper light in bloom... cfl in veg yes... bloom... IDK...you need moore...

Lights,Lights,Lights before you start thinking about advanced techniques. The plant will only grow as big as it's sustainable resources will allow.

Yikes? 12/12 from seed? I knw yu grow on a budget like me but I use mg nutes wm hyponex soil.. but I do have over 1000watts of light for 4 plants..(hps leds and cfls) with about 10 tops on each... vegged for two n half months.. you get what you put into it.. my first plant was a ounce n she looked light shit all bagseed... now have kandy kush and I can tell the diffrence in good genitics right off the back...

ick, ditch the ferts, get something that is suitable for food, or preferably, geared toward our plant. Better yet, organic. And Im deffy on board with the others, you need lights, in the right spectrum, and lots of them. CFLs are awesome, as backups. Put them on some moveable stand, or better, those flexible metal ones that you can bend just about anywhere, use them to illuminate the lower branches.

Well lesson learned, so pretty much I need more/better lights. Damn I got two that I just germinated and no funds for new lights for a bit, what lights are good?

Yea dude its too late to try and increase your yeild. I would say a longer veg time, and top a bit. But next time get more lights and veg for about 4 weeks. If you plan for 12/12 from seed you should try getting more plants

Too late to help your plant...

Next go around-- increase your light, get a bigger planter, good nutes on a good feeding schedule, learn as much as you can about growing etc.. before you start.. and make sure you are not using auto-flowering plants! Despite the fact they make the light cycle non-existant (therefore easier) for newbies-- they do not yield for shit unless you have your growing technique really dialed-in...

And though I am not one of the "handful of CFL fans" I DO tell people to work with what they have and can afford... if using CFL's-- never use anything less than a 100w output and never use soft-white... you need at least 4 of them for decent light...

below are some links that may help your next go-around... this one is too far along and too stretched to fix at this point.... let her finish and enjoy the smoke while you work on your next grow! ;)
