You should wait until you see the bud growing on the very top of the plant. It does'nt matter how tall. If the bud is growing already.

That's how i did my and they turned out like this: You could see the two buds growing on top. Sorry about the pic's Bad cam. Anyways Those were male. I'll be topping my new babies soon.

Try planet skunk & Amsterdam. And i'll take some pic of the roots when they finish flowering. I'am going to start on the 1st of the month. All my plants been top and ready for flowering.

CLONES: When making a clone using the AG sponge and pods. Ok when doing this cut off a 1 1/2 inch of branch. It has to fit inside the dome from the ag. Dip it in some clone solution are what ever, then place inside sponge and put the dome cap on. Leave it alone for a week or so. When the clone develope its roots then you can take off the Dome. This Worked for me!

do yall ever mist your plant. this is my first grow ever. here are some pics can some one please tell me what i have going on. yeah i know they loook like SHIT but i didnt really know what to do and every one has a difrent opinion so this grow may be a complete lost but i would love to be able to salvege some thing from this. I changed to a 12/12 about 2 weeks ago and been using the amount of nuts that it says in the book but i am going to change that now that i have found this wonderfull site. all help mutch apreciated!!

I am on my 1st grow with the aerogarden, and started flowering at 3 weeks, the plants were approximately 7/8 inches and are now at 10 inches on day 4 of flowering. They are doing pretty good, they are an Indica strain but I am not sure what they actually are. Gettin pretty stinky too 
Also I should mention that I am only using the nutes and lights that came w/ the aerogarden. I am set for my next grow, but this is a little experiment.

Good Luck. Make sure you're only using half dose of those AG nuts.
