What it do,

So today is exactly two weeks since i put my 5 germinated Skunk/Jamaican seeds into the AeroGarden Space Saver 6. Currently there are only 4 left due to one that never had any life to it (Even though i bought it from the Vancouver Seed Bank). Right now 3 of the 4 are doing extremely well.

I change the water every sunday since the plants drink a lot ! I also added 2 of the AG nutes which i dissolve in a cup of water before adding to the AG. On top of that, after seeing how bushy these plants are going to be i decided to raise the light a bit today to allow the plants to stretch a bit.

Take a look at this pic and let me know what you think !

If you plan to mature the plants in the AG, I would not allow them to get to tall before flowering. I allowed mine to stretch and now they are over 12". Remember, when you go to flower mode, the plant will double in height. Next time I grow, I will start to flower when the plant is about 6-8". Right now, I have a flower area, but it is busy at this time. I make have to transfer my AG plants to that area once the flower area becomes avaialble.

You can remove the light hood and hang it allow more growth.

Yea hanging the light is way better, cause there going to out grow the extension arm no matter what, But Pro 100 and i got 5 plants, tallest at a foot tall, and shortest at about 8 inches, that lil sprout will probably not make it, she is going t be stunted as hell, i would move you biggest one where she is and keep the to smaller ones where they are, but it sounds like you ogt it, good luck, there lookin really good

I got an Airstone, you need to get some aquarium glue or somthing, and just glue it on the bottom of the AG, and have the tubing run through one of the grow holes, but make sure you cover it up so no light gets to the roots

ya, i have been putting 2 in every sunday when i flush .... should i flush again or just leave it until sunday ?

If i was to leave it, would it kill the plants or throughout the week will the nutes slowly dissolve and stop hurting the plants ?

Well they dont look too burned so they should be fine, unless its worse in person, which nute tabs was it? the Large or Small tabs?

Thanks for the quick replies SICC ... definitely helping me out, i'de smoke you one if i could haha but they look pretty much the same in person. The nutes that Im using are a little smaller then the nail on your thumb.

Im going to keep a close eye on them and if there is no drastic change for the worse, i'll just leave it until sunday at which point ill start using only 1 nute tablet

haha yea no prob, i like to help people out, i would just wait till the next time you add nutes, and like you said keep a close eye them, and it sound like your using the small tabs, but at 2 a week you got some strong plants goin haha, cause it looks like it just started, next time jus crush half a pill, feed them that, wait a day, then add the other half, give it to them easly and at a low dose

Word, thats sounds like a better way to do it. Ill spread out the nutes and just add half a tab on sundays and the other half on wednesdays .... ill keep you posted and let you know how it all turns out

Hey,

Just a little update ... the plants still have some nute burn on them but they are still growing and looking beautiful ! The 5th picture is of the really really slow plant but SHE is starting to show good signs of life so i haven't given up on her yet !

I raised the light a bit today to allow the girls to stretch a bit more because they are starting to fill out and get nice and fat ! Also, since the girls were getting a bit nute burned and the reservoir water level was getting low i decided to add a fresh cup of water !

Let me know what you think ....

Thanks man, the lil' one has started to sprout some new leafs so its exciting to watch her. As for water, I just use the tap water from my bathroom ... I check the PH level every time before filling the AG up, but it's always between 5.5 - 5.7 which I read is really good for hydroponic mary jane.

Quick questions, will nute burn do any damage to the plant ? long term damage ? or is it just a short term thing until the nutes are flushed through their system ?

Yea its short term, it just stunts the growth a lil, that what happend to my Bubba kush, she ended being like two weeks behind everyone else, she got burnt really bad

Word, they are still growing daily so im not too mad, but it definitely is my first major mistake :spew:

The water level is low right now .... would it be a good idea to just add fresh water with no nutes to get the water level back to the line ? or should i just hold off until sunday when i flush ?

I always keep it filled up, it should fine, jus make sure the water isnt too cold, i keep a gallon jug around that stays at room temp
