I would do 18/6 for a couple weeks, then switch to flower once they grow some, do you have any extra CFL's or you just using the stock AG bulbs?
What lights are broke on it? im not quite sure what you're trying to say. You can add nutes at 1/4 strength in a couple days if you want, maybe just wait till the weekend or something.

its not the light that arent working its the pump that pumps the water to the pods it wont turn on i cant figure whats going on with it but my roots have already gotten past the water line so there getting water/nutrient's i have 2 extra 24 watt cfl's was going to use when i bud them

im gonna fix it i gues that was my fault for buying a used aerogarden from amazon but this is what im talking about its a Replacement Pump 111-photoLarge.jpg

Airstone worked for me. Real improvement but only in some. I think I have a downsyndrome kind of seedling. It's growth I'd nowhere near the others and the leaves are coming through deformed. Is tomato feed ok to give to them I'm finding it hard to find the right nutes to buy? pH is 5.7

You don't need that pump. You only need to use the air stones.

The only parts I use now are the lid and res. Works great for seedlings and clones, or full grows if you want.

Drop by a Home Depot or Lowes and pick yourself up some "DAYLIGHT" spiral bulbs for veg. You can run these by finding a outlet-to-socket adapter and use a y-splitter to increase your quantity. Or, you can find whatever you have that will work. Be constructive, =))

Hey jacson,

Start yourself a new thread (grow journal) in the aerogarden or grow journal section and re-post these questions. We can help you better there. =))

wow this is exactly what ive been searching for! Which areogarden do you guys recommend, i was thinking the extra elite or the pro200...is there a difference?

I am BRAND NEW to growing, so please explain everything to me as if im retarded. :P

what are the best nutrients? i see a lot of ppl have problems with the ones that come with the areogarden.
links and specific products would be most helpful.

im not trying to grow anything insane, this is my first time so i would be super happy with just a plant that survives long enough to be smoked!

thanxxx!

http://www.lamps2udirect.com/pages/fullProd.php/Daylight-6400k-30-watt-Energy-Saving-Bulb/360 get some of these theyre really fucking bright. you got too much red in your bulbs if your using aerogarden ones. just need to buy 3 light sockets from hardware store and some electric cable to wire them up in series. then you need a bit of wood to mount them 2 like 2x4 nd another flat board of wood to make a refector. make a lighting rig for~£30 inc the bulbs. adding reflectors on all surfaces will, fromn waht i have read, help spead the light around enabling bushier vegging and then when you buythe flowering bulbs will help bulk out the flowering and make denser buds or so the theory goes.

this would defeat the whole purpose of using an areogarden..so i dont have to make my own. i need something simple and compact

It is so wicked to see so many other people using the aerogarden to grow dope! I had no idea it was so huge. And what better than people who are willing to share their experience and give all us newbies the lowdown!

Of all places, you can now find figure "8" cords at the ninety-nine cents store. Look where they have all the electrical stuff. It's about a foot or two shorter then the seven dollar one from Radio Shack but it hasn't been a problem with me.

Thinking of trying this setup but was wondering if i could use a mini fridge as a grow box I've seen it done just don't understand why they take off the compressor on the fridge? Would it be safe to do this setup, then just let it sit in the fridge with 2 6500k/2 2700k lights? Also is there any way of controlling the temps in the fridge? Thinking of putting in 2 240mm fans in connected to a computer psu is that ok? Sorry bout all the questions new to this and after all the reading was curious to see if all this would work?
