After germinating in a water soaked paper towel put the seeds in th AG. CHECK them if you don't see green in a couple of days. Cut the foam pads in half before you insert the seeds. They will often grow in the wrong direction if the foam is not cut. No green you pull the pod and then open it and carefully straighten the root. get the seed head near the top of the pod. They will grow.

My question is how soon can you go to the flower (12/12) stage ? I'd like some other opinions on this. Is four sets of leaves and three weeks enough 18/6 time?

Thanks, O2

TeK,

As usual you set the standard. Its hard to believe how fast you get your plants to grow. I had good luck last year with the AG and have started again.
These plants are 20 days from seed. They are AK47 seeds from the hemp depot. Germinated for three days then in the AG. 18/6 with weak solution of FF big grow. Do you think it is too soon to go to 12/12 and switch to FF big bloom? I'll also add more lighting.
I didn't do a great job of recording everything last summer. This time I'm recording everything.
All comments welcome.

Thanks Tek, O2

those look like they could go another week or 2 of veg....
they should have 5-6 nodes before flowering....
you might be able to start 12/12 now, but those guys look a little weak and only to have 2-3 nodes...

Today is 63 days from seed...

I'm going to harvest them within this week...

Theyre looking nice....

I've sample a few buds, I dryed in the oven at about 100-150 degrees for an hour....took a lot of trial and error to get the time down for how long to leave it in the oven...I tried 10 min then 20, then 30 and 40,...an hour even a little longer drys em nice and still leaves apowerful smoke...

well like i said gonna chop em real soon....

heres the pics....

i'll post pics of final buds and weights when its done...

Peace

Those plants are looking good Tek. How much weight do you think you will get off of each plant? My clones are just about ready go into flowering. I can't wait until i get some awesome buds like that. I have about 60 more days to go. I think i will get some of my lowryder going next grow. 9 weeks from start to finish is pretty cool.

Let them go some more. They look like they still have some time left to grow. I may be wrong. Just would hate to see you harvest too early. They do look awesome. Not to many completed aerogarden grows can compare to what you have done here.

Well yesterday I got the urge to clip a budd off of the girls after reading the above post , so when I went over there last night I clipped a nice 2'' bud from a branch and brought it home and put it in the oven at the lowest setting .. (my oven's is 170 .. So I sat there and turned and checked it .. after about a 1/2 hr I snipped it all up the dry leaves I took off and snipped the buds into smaller pieces , then I looked at the time (it was now 11pm) and said fuck it Im going to bed Cause the were still a little wet .. So I put them On a paper plate and put it on top of my tower . ..... well I got up at 6am checked them out and they were Nice and dry .. so I twisted up 1/2 of it and smoked it ... Its 8:10 as im typing this and IM STILL STONED... Im so pumped for when I harvest this shit and cure it right .. Its going to be some Kick ass Budd ... well I just thought I would share

Well I went and did it.....chopped down my ladies today....

Final stats....

67 days from seed...
Filled up 2 plates with the plant on the right and 1 plate from the plant on the left...
I would have had maybe like 8 more nugs but I been picking a few off over the past week...plus there was a couple gram or so of buds that I chopped from the lower plant about 3 weeks ago...
weight: TBD

It was a tedious job but fun....

I always feel sad tho and a little excited...very mixed emotions lol

It was a very fun and enlightening grow...

I've included pictures....
the 1st pic...is of the 3 plates of nugs and scrap sugar leaves i like to save for filler smoke...
the 2nd pic is a plate full from the right plant
the 3rd pic is another plate full from the right plant
the fourth pic is a plate full from the left plant
the 5th pic is a plate full of sugar scrap leaves...
the 6th pic is of the roots
and the 7th pic is of a funny occurence where roots started growing into the hole where the water comes out and made its own little network...I had to unscrew underneath the grow surface...

After it dries for a week or 2 I'll messgae back with the final weight....

Thanks to everyone for stopping by and for all the great comments....

And a special thanks to Dr.Zoidberg whos knowledge of the LR2 helped and inspired along the way....

Thank You,
Peace out all...
Untill next time...
-Tek

P.S. Look out for my Diesel Ryder Aerogarden Grow....coming soon to a rollitup near you!

Very impressive grow with CFL. Can't wait to here the dry weight and smoke report. I really like that you got out the fine china for the photo-op. Very classy indeed. Been married for 8 years and I don't think we have used our china yet.
