Check out the attached pic. I took scotch sticky hooks (don't know exactly what they're called - got them at Staples) and gorilla glued them to the top of the hood, then I suspended them with string/thin rope on the hanger rack that came with the closet.

The AG hood was always useful, I just agree with gophernutz (haha) that HPS lighting is the sensible upgrade.

I am in day 3 of my second grow. Only one plant this time. I should get better growth and yield. That 1.5 gal res. gets crowded pretty quickly.

Thanks for the method. I will have to do it differently because it's not a closet grow but I will keep those ideas in mind. How much have you come to trust the adhesive hooks( I think called command adhesive hooks) and/or the Gorilla glue to hold especially with all the heat concentrated in the space?

I think that's a lovely grow for your first time. It may not be a big yield and potency, but you went basic with just a good nutrient formula, CFL lights, and cut the full maturing of the plant short. That's a success and I know you've got the bug now.

So you have started with HPS light now... how many lamps are you filling and have you found any really good deals on the bulbs?
