yea i figured that id start small on the whole hydoponics deal like i said im used to soil growing. I did alot of reading about the aerogarden. The complete aerogarden guide was verry usefull as well. Im gunna go into a little more detail on my next post so i can give everyone a little more info on my grow.

i Was going to water my plants the other day (soil) and my hps fell on the ground and cheped my plant in half. So i decided to plant a clone to practice since everybody says its easy in the aerogarden. I cut a nice section off and dipped it into some root horm. powder. And set the light to 24hours. But the clone looks like hell man. I look at it everyday and i dont see any roots forming. I dipped it again today lets see if that does anything. Otherwise that situation i was having a yellowing problem. My plants were really yellow not dead yellow but healthy yellow check the ph that was fine and i decided to clean the res. I started all over one nute tab a week with fresh water. Well the yellow is starting to fade but now the plant is drooping. H
eres some pics. What do you think And there all female plants.

Im hoping that she will survive cus the plant that got owned by the light is a female. I did a little force sexing on them just to make sure they were female. They are bagseed but a good strong sour d strain. Out of the 3 seeds of bagseeds from the aerogarden one seed dident sprout and the two others are like 2 weeks old. They are growing quick though. Just wondering is there a diff in taste in smoke from a soil grow to aeroponic grow?

Yea its a def i have all females... This is awesome usually with my luck with bag seed that i get all males but ahahahahaha i guess theres not gunna be a part 2 to this aerogarden grow.

congrats on your gurls spec! i finally got my HID set up ready and my cfl/soil gurls and my AG gurls are both gonna be flowered under a 400w HPS. Was your light damaged from the fall? i secured mine with a metal set of bath curtain hangers that lock together ( i know ghetto! lol) but they will serve their purpose and i can alwasy take off rings to raise the light or add mroe to lower it if i need to.

Keep up the good work! I have had really good luck with the AG and female rates. So far 6 for 6! Can you believe that? Maybe its that the AG is just so good to them when they're young, or maybe its dumb luck. Either way I dont care Im just greatful to have a posse of ladies. No sausage party in my garden!

This might be a newbie question, but how can you tell the difference between male and female?

And how early can you tell?

Alrighty its been a while since i posted last. I started a new job 2nd shift so pretty much all im doing now is work. But the ladies are looking swell. I had some nute burn but i corrected it. Another thing is my taller plant is looking verry strange like its being over watered. I have the res pump running 24/7 cause i cloned a soil grow but the leaves are curling down and in. It is still maintaining the green but as you can see in the pic its weird looking. I allways test the ph and cleaning the res every week. What you think may be going on here. But otherwise than that the clone is gradually coming along. Small root development is coming through the sponge so i think she will b a keeper. Yea bigbrew man the aerogarden is pretty cool. This is the first time i have grown from it so i used bagseed and you know how frustrating when you check up on your plant and you see balls. Man that sucks. But yea iv been thinking on what kind of seeds to get next. Any sugestions.......bongsmilie:joint::eyesmoke::bigjoint: ANd i Will PoSt PiCs in two seconds
