I was wondering if anyone has tried the AEROGARDEN as a grow station.... I have a Pro200 and it seems to be doing rather well. The plants were grown from seed, are on day 16 and already have 5 nodes. It has an automatic water level low indicatior and 6,000 lumens total. Its in 2ft x 2ft x 4ft stealth box, The temp runs from 80-84 degrees, and the humidity stays between 30-45%....I started with 3 seedlings, one died so i started another and that ones a little behind..... i jus changed to an 18/6 and i'm going to run that for about a week or two.....and then switch to a 12/12..... The only problem i have is these orange spots that appear on all my leaves..... the spots appear on old leaves once new growth forms..... Any comments, tips, or suggestions would be helpful...... After this harvest i am doing 7 seeds and going 12/12 from seed... We'll see how that goes....

Yep thats it...... do you have any Do's and Dont's for me..LOL.. on of my biggest questions is.... How do u flush??? do u flush about 10-16 days? That's what i've heard.... is it nessesary?? How long do you veg.....and whats your approx. flower time?... Do you clone... if so how are you using your aerogaren to do it?

Flushing = no nutes just water , It allows the plants to use up all the risidual nutes that are in the water and in the plant .. Do that for the last two or three weeks before you plan on harvesting.the leaves will start to turn yellow dont worry its normal It is to take all the harsh chemicals out so I would advise it

Flower time varies expect 10-12 weeks

I dont clone .. I grow from seed and top them. the most you can grow in there is 4 plants .. 3 is better and 2 is ideal.. I start with 4 and hope to get 2-3 females ...

Good luck there are a lot of threads here on the areo garden,, spark up a fat bone and read .. If you need any help people will help.. Take some pictures it helps a lot when there is a problem I also had a few spots in the begining not anymore

I really think your airstone makes a difference.... my plants arent near as bushy or as tall as yours were on the same day...... MAD PROPS to your very excellent grow.... i cant wait to see your finished product.

I am also using one, although in a totally different way than he is... and this is my first grow indoors, so I am not really sure of what I am doing... but I love experimenting and I am having a blast...:bigjoint:

Like he said... grab a bowl and read some grow journals... use the search feature as well... and do get in the habit of reading journals from page one... you will learn about all of the little details as well as successes and failures of various members...bongsmilie

Ah! and make sure when you start your journal, that you link it on your signature (see MY ROLLITUP up top), that way people can come see your garden...

Whats up everyone..... This is a little update since my last post..... I just would like to say thanks for your input.... because the airstone make a hell of a difference...... i think i am going to add a 2nd line into the other side if the rez. It makes near perfect sense to me, the whole left side looks misted by the water while i am only getting a portion of the right side...... Well anyways......... here are some pics at day 17...... the far left is on day 10...... tell me what you think..... comments and suggestions are a must....

Does anyone prune the "shoots" that come out??

I saw a video on youtube..... the guy pruned all the grow shoots that come out above the FAN LEAVES..... He had amazing results......

Man i was going to start flowering at the end of this week..... seeing your lucious greens makes me wanna stay in veg for a little while longer..... My goal is to endulge on my own harvest AROUND christmas time..... i would rather it be a little early and a smaller harvest than miss the 25th...... IMO

Hey guys
Also in with the Aerogarden biz, this is my first grow too.
My leaves have MASSIVE nute burn, i think its because the roots are growing right into the bottom of the tray and taking in too many nutrients.
Should i flush the whole thing and just put one (small) nute in, as apose to the 2 it recomends?
