I started seedlings in soil and washed the soil off and inserted the plants and roots into the netpot. After about 12 hours the leafs started curling down a little. Is this normal after a transfer into a DWC.

Lets see here, I hope you didnt do this with expensive seeds. Your netpots have what in them? They're what size?

If you're using clay pellets or rock wool, i'd try misting the pellets/roots with a very weak solution, attempting to keep the plant viable. It has certainly gone into a transplant shock, that it may not recover from. Perhaps next time plant your germinated seeds in a rock wool square, keep it there until it's ready for the netpot. Two weeks under 24/7 mild light would be a good guess...B

I didn't use a netpot but made one from a plastic bowl about 12 inchs around. I cut squares out of it to make a netpot. I am using gravel because nothing else is available were I live.
