AG seed co aka Authentic Genetics by Todd McCormick

Todd, by virtue of being an advocate of Skunkman Sam, is a bit of a controversial figure in the community. That being said, the likes of Seattle Greg and Mel Frank have allowed him to grow and sell their genetics.

I have a handful of his stuff in my freezer, and I am about to buy a bundle that I will link below.

This is a thread to discuss everything from the man to his genetics, hopefully more the latter than the former.

We have been working with the help of the global cannabis community to collect genetics from around the world in order to reproduce and breed with them. We are working to make them available to the local cultivation community and we could use your help to make it happen sooner than later.
The mission for Authentic Genetics has always been to bring rare and mostly unavailable genetics to the community directly from the original breeders.
We started with getting the original Haze genetics directly from Skunkman Sam and reproducing them with his permission and his guidance with the goal of spreading Haze and increasing the quality of cannabis worldwide.
Because of the old seed collection of Mel Frank, we were able to bring back acrid smelling original Skunk #1 that he had received in the mid 80s. As well as the fast flowering Durban Poison which we are working on making more seeds of now.
Through the generosity of Seattle Greg, we have been able to re-introduced to the community the long lost “Purest Indica” as well as the Northern Lights #2 and Northern Lights #5.
We have been dedicated to making regular seeds available whenever possible so that the community can continue to breed and benefit from these genetics.
This project has been a labor of love the entire time and will always continue to be. We are not funded by a big corporation and we have no investors, we just have our relationship with our community of cultivators.
Our goal has been to bring the highest quality, most authentic reproductions of these genetics to the community so that everybody can experience them before cannabis corporations try to lay claim to the very genetics that we feel are in public domain.
We have also been collecting a lot of the legendary clone-only cultivars, such as OG Kush, Skywalker OG, Trainwreck, Sour Diesel and many others with the goal to release feminized seeds so everybody can enjoy these authenticated genetics.
We now have the opportunity of working with genetics from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Colombia, Mexico, Thailand and many more regions, and this is where we could use your help.
By purchasing this special variety pack that we put together for this purpose, you can contribute to our effort of being able to bring more genetics to you and the entire cultivation community.
The more support we receive, the easier it will be for us to bring more diversity and unique seeds to you.
Thank you for your consideration and your generosity and please spread the word, by working together our efforts are amplified and will benefit the entire cannabis community.
Thank You for Your Continued Support & Happy Growing!

I grew out his Jack Herer x Skunk 1. It was very midsy. I'm sitting on some of his NL5 f2's too. I've also heard lots of mixed things. I'm a huge NL fan, and from my research the best NL was probably Neville's initial release back in 89. There were other good ones along the way too. PeakSeeds, BCSB, hell even the old Nirvana fems. I'm a little skeptical of these newer releases, but let the beans do the talking. Would love to see more people growing these out and giving reports.

Nirvanas nl and the old bc seedbanks were both good ime as for numbers the one and the two or 5 x2 were the best the 5 was more about yield than qaulity vs the others I found

I've been on the fence about taking this plunge.. I have read strong opinions going both directions re: AG/TM.. They always have some kind of good deal going but I am always a skeptic when it comes to these older strains.

@Tolerance Break are you just adding to your vault or plan on popping them sooner than later?
Yes and perhaps.

I got nl2, nl5, original indica, trainwreck x nl5, skunk 1, on/nevil haze x nl2 (or 5, again, I forgot), and Original haze. I won't grow the original haze because I don't have the time or space.

I'm open to suggestions. Leaning to more of the sativa strains or NL5 IBL. Won't get them started for a while though, got 2 potential rounds of flower vegging right now.

I also noticed there's this thread we somehow missed (or I did anyway)

I feel like a dick lol

Either they didn't add the title to the tag section or the search function is a little broken

This thread popped up in the what's new section, someone has been growing NL2 and NL5 with decent results.

Thanks. I explored NL5 thoroughly this year. I'd like to pop more NL2 down the line. I actually preferred it to the 5.

I just finished up his Skunk #1 as an indoor grow and it threw nanners all over in late flower. There was no stress as everything was kept the same. Temp, RH, ph, nute levels. I just started the Purest Indica because of First Cav's report on how good it was. I also have the Original Haze and NL2 but starting them has gone down the list to start due to the Skunk #1 issues. I'm not blaming his genetics as I know these things can happen.

I appreciate the info, I'll keep that in mind before I start any skunk 1 projects.
