Yeah I’m gonna do that and use the top as a clone and just flower the bottom half that makes sense

Cut a section of the top off so it’s only 2x the size of the side branches, and it’ll bush out. You’ll have a really thick clone though lol. I only topped my plant 2 times and just kept pulling the tops down until I transplanted.

I don’t want you thinking I’m some expert grower lol! Honestly, this is my 4th grow that has made it this far. My first 2 grows, each only yielded me 15g. I was using 4 x 23w cfl bulbs. My 3rd grow, I got a 150w HPS for free from a buddy of mine. I saw how well my buds were growing and ordered a 600w. That plant ended up yielding me 94g after almost killing it in week 3 of flower. This grow I started with 600w MH and just switched the bulb to my HPS this week. This will be my biggest harvest for sure lol. This is organics baby. Nothing but plain RO water. I don’t PH I don’t add bottled nutrients, I just water when dry and let the bacteria in my soil go to work breaking down the organic matter and converting it to usable nutrients for my plant

I think I’m gonna invest in a cloning kit too I need to feel reassured about each cutting

Yup! Just keep pulling branches down and eventually, every branch will reach the top! I would say in 2 weeks, top all the tops lol. You’ll end up with a massive bush like mine

So how long did you have to leave yo ties on ?

i think till the end cause if not they go back to straight, once i do some defoliation im gonna put some bamboo sticks then probably remove the ties

my outside one, thought it was auto but was a fem so didnt have much to train just bamboo sticks and some stem pinching (i cleaned the leaves after the pic haha)

I left mine until I set up the trellis net. Then I took them all off. Typically people will leave them for a few weeks

thanks, been getting low40s so staryed bring it inside just hoping its good till end of October at least, days are not bad in 70

A quick update it turns out that about half of my clones might’ve actually turn out to be something

The bad news is I have about 10 different strains vegging in my closet not including these clones I guess I rather have too many plants rather than not having enough

I just love weed I ended up adding 3 Peanut butter soufflé seeds to the mix too and my garanimal, guava and sugar cone are maintaining this sugar cone looks a lil different tho maybe it’s the smaller pot
(Garanimal has the blue tacks to the left is guava and Just in front of that is sugar cone)

some better than none . flip them haha that what im doing to mine. buddy mentioned people flipping plants with not much veg time and it comes out decent watch youtube. my main tent is in flower and ibhave 6 in the veg tent so i got a light the other day(bloom pluss bp 1500 75 buck) and will flip by the end of October just need to transfer 3 into 3 gallon and we are off!!! i want to shut down for a few weeks so trying to get it all done by January

I would love to flip them now but I only have 1 tent and I wanted to make them mother plants but I’ll probably just chop about 5 clones of each instead of keeping the whole plant but I’m gonna put them in 3 gallons on the 1st by default they got about 40 days left in the closet
