AK-47 Fall/Winter Attic Grow 2008

I'm just saying. I don't know where you live but I am outside all day every day on my acreage and I have seen the heli every 5 or 6 weeks. Maybe you don't have to worry, IDK. But since I have personally seen this chopper on more than several occasions doing patterned sweeps with the FLIR clearly mounted on both sides, I figured it was worth posting.
I was unaware of your disbelief in them.
Every time it has flown over it's been during work hours, so maybe you are unaware. I'm just saying be careful.

All I am saying is that they have no information on me manufacturing or dispensing marijuana. A pic from a chopper using FLIR technology is not grounds for a search warrant in my state. They must have a tip, or other information leading to the fact that you are growing within your household. Not to mention the complete waste of funds that it would be to send a chopper scouring all over my entire city to search for grow lights. Now I can see if your house lit up like the fourth of july with 10-15 1000w hps systems throughout it, but come on. I have one light. I could have a yoga studio for all they know, a damn welding station out in that workshop. Who knows maybe I wanted a heated room out there. It could be a million things. I once read an article in our largest newspaper a few months ago that quoted our local police department as saying, "if its not more then 150 plants, we rarely are able to justify airborne surveillances". And to add to that, the state in which I live is in such an economic turmoil that they could never afford to sweep my city. Our police departments are having trouble keeping gas in their cars, let alone a chopper. I understand your concern, but I strongly believe it is unwarranted.

But since I appreciate your concern, i'll open it up. What does everyone think?

A. Move it to your basement
B. Move it downstairs in the workshop
C. Leave it where it is.

If the heat is centered only in the grow area and that the attic is cool you should be fine. Even if not, I think you'll be fine. Also if you're not known in the police community. But precaution is always a winner. It's your call ! And good luck with the Ak47s, feed them lots nutes.

just moved them upstairs in my spare bedroom. Now I can run an AC on fan setting to move fresh air in and the heat is diffused through the ceiling and has to go through the attic insulation and roof. I feel a lot safer now. Thanks guys. Input?

Here is an update after the move. I planted two Aus Blues in one pot as an experiment to see if i get one big bush.

Well the plants seem to have adapted well to the move, they grew about a half inch so I know they are not stunted. I'm loving that they are bushing the way I wanted them to, hope that continues. I have high hopes for this grow!

I accept it if they catch me. I have no criminal record so its not like I'm gonna rot in prison. But that being said, I'm gonna take all the necessary precautions not to get caught, like I said before FUCK THE POLICE

i say no chance that one 1000w bulb is going to bring you down. paranoia will destroy ya. but no doubt - they are getting bushy. By the way...try using the flash when taking pics - maybe they'll look more green. give it a shot. those babies are sexy as hell and the photos aren't doing them justice.

Yea the flash really helps. Nice bushy green children, they're definitely turning out great!

I have a grow with ak47 I started a couple months ago, not quite as extravagant as yours but I expect the perfect results for me

Coming along really nice man. A few states have Mary freindly laws on the ballot this fall it'll be interesting to see if a few more states open up. I'd love to grow medicinal for a living.
