Planning on growing two of these plants, was wondering if anyone had experience with them?

I have a pot that is 6 gallons and I plan to use 150W HPS.

Do you think that is sufficent for two plants?

Or should I just go for one at a time?

+Rep for anyone with exp.

I'm saying would a 6 gallon pot be more than enough room for two of these? I know they would effect each other, but is it enough to worry about?

I'm an outdoor grower and never tried this. I just gotta grow year round lol

I think you could easily do 3 if you wanted as long as there separated enough ... If I were you I would also get a bunch of Cfl lights to supplement extra light from the sides also ... could definitely be done though

I have 8 24W, 100 W equivalent cfls I use to start my seedlings for outdoors. I could always hook them up too.

So anyone else think two would be fine in 6 gallon pot?

I think I'm gonna put a plastic divider down the middle of the pot. You guys think that would work? I don't see why it wouldn't?

I was just gonna do one in the pot, but I don't wanna waste time if something were to go wrong, I figured two is better than one. 6 gallons should be more than enough room for two autos.

If that dude grew 1 in a 2 gallon pot, then 2 in a 6 gallon would be mint !!. people grow autos in party cups!!

Good luck. keep us posted !

I personally would avoid the two plants in one pot for several reasons.

First, if you have a issue with one plant, or sickness, it is in the same pot as the other plant. Also, sometimes different pheno's of the same strain might require different amounts of water and different amount of nutrients. Any type of insect infestation will spread quicker, and if you do have to chop one plant early for whatever reason, the others plants rotting roots wont me sitting right next to it.

Your HPS is probally fine for veg, but i would kick in with the CFL's during flowering for side lighting, to get those hard to reach spots. good luck, hope this helps.

i would have to agree with iamkrazy..... its always better to keep them seperated that way the roots wont get tangled and like he said if one gets sick the other one will get sick as well. i did it once and that was my last time ever doing it. the results were very disappointing...so from personal experience just get two ten inch pots and go from there. by the way is this ur first time growing lowryders? if it is not, whats the average dry weight just from one lowryder. ive been looking or actually thinking about getting the nypd lowryder, but i wanna know whats the average dry weight from one girl......

Yeah, I've grown two autos in a 1 gal pot and they did ok.....so your 6 gal pot will do quite well...hope both are fems!
Make sure you just don't overwater....lowryders need time between waterings so the roots will seek deeper.....they're almost plant and ignore!

Well I decided to just grow one at a time. I got two low ryder ak47 auto fem. I also have three more autos I got for free, So I should be busy all winter. : )

What do you think the yield will be with a 150w HPS and four to eight 24W (100w equivalent) cfls? I'm going to LST it with a tie down. I'm going for the no stress route.

Start to finish in a 6 gallon pot. Going to use Cal-MAg botanicare and FF big bloom.
