Weak. But it was early. All three phenos. But I was not ready to give up so I am going to try to hold out. On day 61 I pulled like 20 stamens off and said enough is enough. I do a loose perpetual grow and was tired of fighting and did not want pollen on my k-train. One of the 3 phenos went 70 days and is a little more potent but not good enough for me. It looks nice. Made hash with a qp and just woke up after the sh!t knocked me out

If the current girl is weak also...more hash. She (all 3 phenos actually) is a heavy producer and doubles the yeild of my headband and k-train. 1.5-2 zips in soil and an easy 2+ in coco or hydro. Very strong shape and form. Nice thick heavy buds. But again I had 3 very distinct phenos, and I wonder if there are more, and what Barneys considers the "right" one. I think the one I have in flower now that I call RDI (indica though is slow to finish out) has the genetics of their "8 ball kush" as the description of the physical structure is close. One (RDS) flowers look a little hazeish, and one that originally looked like it was going to finish in 7-8 weeks then slammed on the brakes and was cut at 70 days turned purple and had what I have heard refered to as "clawing" of the leaves and looks very unique. I got lazy, pics tonight.

I tried it again yesterday morning after my ex told me I was crazy for not smoking it and it tastes/smells good and gets me high, but not as good of a mood elevator as K-train. I am fighting the hermies on one right now to get her to finish, the trichs are small, but seem to be increasing...lots of new clear ones. here is a pic from a couple of days ago @ 63 days.

Could you explain how to do that? I cant find anything about it. I actually have an ak-48 seed that i will hopefully get started in a couple months.

I've grown AK-48 before. It's a really fast finisher but I used it for breeding. Crossed it with an NL and called it Polar Assult. The AK-48 and NL were about 7.5 out of 10 on the stoner scale but the polar assault was ungodly good! Flavor and potency were some of the best I can remember but i guess that doesn't say much. I would highly recommend AK-48 for breeding. It grows super fast and definitely carries the pink hair gene but it could use a little more potency.

Sorry to hear about the Ak-48 lacking potency as I have a few going. Mine surprised me yesterday when at the 5th and 6th node (7 nodes total) and 6.5" they showed their girlie parts under 18hrs light. Ruderalis? They look nice, I hope they turn out good.

I only grew a few of the AK and used the rest for seed. Could have just been bad luck. I really only used them because the seed company claimed they could be finished in 45 days. It could have been that I just harvested them before they got to maximum potency but it's been so long ago I don't know if we let em go for longer than 45 days or not. Also, I wasn't very good at curing back then which could have further reduced the potency. I only grew around 10 plants with 4-5 females, 2 of which were used for breeding, so it's kind of too small a test group to make any definitive conclusions. I know there must be some good genes in there because the polar assult(AK-48 x NL) was some of the best weed I've ever had, and the NL strain I used wasn't any better than the AK in my opinion. Also, when I say it lacked in potency, that is only when compared to other awsome strains (white widow, sadhu, sour diesel, willies wonder, etc). It was still quiet a bit better than chunk or those no name funks that are always going around.

so i ended up harvesting her and the smoke is great i love it. its kinda imparing good 4-20 smoke.

no pics for some time but i got 3.5 o and its excelent smoke. used trim for cookies and they blow u away.

red d is gonna go for 1 more week then down.

nice grow GHOST, how long did u veg them for? how tall?, i'm thinking of buying this strain, but thinking of growing some outside, do you reckon they would do well, outside, keeping in mind i live in the north of england

hey man if you look at my grow journal im groing two ak47 lowryders outside....theyre fucked up because of heat stress but are flourishing outside.....these autoflowering strains are great to grow outdoors

Total 8 weeks to finish the whole harvest? DUDE THATS AMAZING...........

My nirvana strains take 2 weeks seed / 3 weeks veg / and 9 weeks to flower

i am growing ak48 as well i thought it would grow a little faster than it is nut it looks good so far

i veged her for about 5 weeks and flowered for 9 (note that going a full 9 weeks brings out a strong body high associated with a strong mental high)
over all a great smoke. i have friends that get lsd like high from it.

as for the red d she is coming down this friday with a total of 13 weeks of flower so it am going to get rewarded for my patience. expecting a o+ from the red D.

My final grow with AK-48 (DIY Aeroponic/DWC) resulting in some nice smokeables... I will miss the AK-48, but must maaaaaaaake way for the Serious Seeds AK-47, Kali Mist, White Russian and the Green House Seeds Super Lemon Haze and he Nirvana White Widow... And the 100 or so other seeds I have that I haven't got round to growing yet, haha.
