I’m looking for some sativa-based selections for a relaxing daytime smoke and anti-anxiety. Any suggestions? This thread seems to like the Kali Mist f4, and I have it on my short list. Am also considering the Dope Beard Durban. I’m kinda sensitive to sativas, so was kinda iffy on consumption f2 (haze background?) and some hazes tend to be a bit too manic for me. I’m also considering trying a 1:1 thc/cbd variety (new concept to me, never been to a dispensary). Is there anything special I “have to try“ from AKBB before it’s gone for good ? I’ve ordered from him in the past, and want to do a bigger order. Thanks in advance, you guys always come through! I’m hoping to email for master lists next week and finalize.

I have grown both the SSSC Durban and the DBD. Both were nice and do not hit too hard on the sativa spectrum They were pleasant and are good daytime smokes imo. DBD was slightly stronger in effect but definitely did not bring any anxiety or negative effects. They both had a nice, spicy taste. I used to have the original Kali Mist (haven't tried AKBBs) and that was a crystal clear uplifting buzz. Might have to try his offering.

Cool, I’ll keep ‘em on the list and try to snag 2 more. Big is fine, I have a 5’x5’ space to play with and like a challenge. Would it be best to order directly from AKBB or order through JBC? Any other selections I should look at? I’d like a little diversity, and old school is always a plus (username checks out). It would be nice to find a couple good $60 packs too. Thank you all.

Can anyone help me with the lineage behind the testerosa/deathstarosa? The spelling isn't the same as aficionados testarossa so I am curious if it's that or something I'm unaware of. I see on here the deathstarosa uses the ohio deathstar clone but again I'm not sure of that cuts lineage either. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks for the list. I actually have several recs from you on my list from other threads - like the dope beard Durban, double dose diesel, and the puck stuff. I’ve read about your infamous puck/skunk#1 “pcp” cross too :-). I snagged NL2 and the original OG kush from AG not too long ago. I’ve also got NL5 from AKBB. The NL5/Haze, TKNL5Haze (wasn’t sure which, so many!), Black Domina, and possibly Romulan still interest me though. I wanted Sensi Star for nostalgia, but didn’t know if f4 was worth pursuing. I know crickets and cicada has 2 puck x Sensi star versions that have been talked about, and I was considering those instead.

If I'm not mistaken it was A1 Testarossa from Aficionado crossed with the Ohio Deathstar

I wanted to give a quick update now that the NL5Haze and Red grape Lebanese x Hawaiian cat piss have had some time to cure.

The NL5Haze is very potent and long lasting but has a rather abrupt onset. The body high is that wavy gravy feeling I remember and love. This is NOT get shit done weed for me it's more, Peep Show, pizza and blow off my responsibilities for the day. I am a sucker for old school and thankfully this one is as potent as I remember. Flavor wise the lemon phenos are keeping the lemon cleaner but now have a creamy cilantro bit that is really nice. The gross pheno is best described by my brother "mango slices left in a hot diaper bag with sunscreen". Cool ass weed.

The Lebanese x Hawaiian has been a really interesting one in the way it just kind of coddles you. It's a very warm and inviting high but does put you to sleep, though not in the narcotic way I associate with NL1. This is one I want to keep around to give to first timers as it provides a really comfortable and euphoric experience. The aroma on both phenos is the most unique I have ever come across. Sharp fruity pebbles with sweet middle eastern baking spices. The exhale kind of tastes like a ricola. Honestly this one is kind of stumping me and I normally pride myself on my supper sniffer, there are just so many aromas in there that my brain has never come across before.

How many did you have to go thru to find what you'd consider keepers?

Thanks for the review. Something that had me stumped was zkittlez taste and placing it. I used to get this strain called "star"...just plain old star no deathstar or sensi star...and I had it quite often as such. I feel like zkittlez is star lol...it just hit me today smoking these purple zkittlez buds that came in.

10 pack for the NL5Haze and a 5 pack for the RGL x HCP. I made a cross of the two so that will get popped next.
