AK & GSC younglings starting to show issues

I'll start off by saying - I suspect I was watering too often. But since the issue is now presenting itself on the lower-most leaves, as if N levels aren't right. But I've read that overwatering will cause this as well. And since both plants are showing it, it must be a common problem that I'm causing for both of them. Here's the background:

-AK47AF and a fem. GSC, grown from seeds - 16 days old
-T5 HO light system (to be replaced by LED shortly. was going to do it at this stage but these plant stress signs have delayed the switch)
-Popped in jiffy pots then put in solo cups, with drainage holes
-25% FFOF soil, 25% perlite, 50% FF light warrior
-Spring water (my tap water has chloramine so can't use it) with a pH roughly 6.8 (i'm still trying to get used to this pH pen i bought, even after calibration readings are a bit sporadic)
-Have not measured the pH runoff (i'm in good soil and reasonable water, I don't expect to have a pH issue at this stage and symptoms aren't presenting as such)

The pic on the left is the GSC; the one to the right is the auto AK.
These strains are both indica, which is why I've had trouble understanding if I just have meaty leaf growth or if they've been telling me they're getting watered too often? The serrations look a bit pronounced, almost kind of chunky... but I have not had leaf curl as a symptom of overwatering.

What do you think? I waited a couple days now and the soil is bone dry. Was going to give a thorough watering today and then wait 3 days. I thought I was doing well by lifting the cup to feel how dry it was, but maybe I've been watering too often?

Also, I'm moving to smart pots so I was thinking transplant the GSC and then give a good watering? I'm not sure though bc articles say to water well first, then wait a day and then transplant to reduce stress or breaking up the root ball.

PS - Yes, I'm going to transplant the auto. I've read plenty about it. It's going to have one transplant. My goal here is not so much the best auto grow possible, but more of me learning how to handle a proper and healthy grow, so I'm better at it the next try.
