I have used it exclusively both indoors and outdoors. It does stink. I havent had any problems with animals outdoors, but it would make sense that it could be an issue, but after a week or so i wouldnt worry. Indoors, I just have a 4" exhaust vent and the smell is neutralized quite a bit when you put it in the soil, but it does last for about 3 to 5 days. I use a tent so i can just zip it shut and let the exhaust fan do its magic. Good for the vegetative cycle because its mainly heavy on the nitrogen, but all the other nutrients are a great benefit. I just add it to the water and give them a good drink like it recomends on the container. It needs to be shaken up very well. And if you get some on your hands, yuck! It is a good value for the price especially because its concentrated. It doesn't make your final product taste weird or anything like that. You can burn your plants just like with any other fertilizer, so be careful not to over do it. I only give one application during the veg cycle. I wouldn't give it to anything that is flowering. I have been very pleased with it and I have an open gallon on my shelf and a spare for when that runs out.
As far as results, I have had some pretty yellow looking plants get there green back in about 3 days.
