Aleo Vera fertilizer/tea

Has anyone tried this? I heard that aleo Vera naturally ecurages root growth and contains nutrients too.

Maybe you could top feed or make a tea.

Only as a surfactant ...ideal add some during a germ

it allows water to enter the shell easier also good for clones

I often spray AV during hot days like icecream to kids

nutes are minimal imo

good luck

When you say "enter the shell" do you mean during germination? It seems the shells of seeds are getting stronger---we're growing too well perhaps? Like free range chicken's egg shells are also harder and thicker than factory farmed eggs.

I've also read people suggest putting a drop of peroxide in the germination water to soften that shell.

Harder stronger.....? perhaps but just maybe thru excess silicon and calcium from the water whilst the seeds being grown..?

I've seen no difference but I make most of my own seeds and use very soft water thru all my grows

I also scrafiy or shake the seeds in a jar with sand paper to allow the water to penertrate

as for adding Peroxide or bleach to a germing solution...? only a true fuck wit would do that

I know and did in my junior years...a mentor is essential in these days as was for me back them

However in places like the usa where seeds come from all directions and nasty shit disease abounds

dipping you seeds in bleach or peroxide for a wash is vital to kill any TMV spores even wilt spores

dip again in clean water...the ph burns the inside developing cells

do it only if you must and suspect spores in action

good luck

Issues with the seed-shell is talked about a lot now but I guess it's something you've always done. I've seen vids & posts telling ppl to make a fine cut in the seed shell, to use sand paper and rough it up, to add ONE DROP of Peroxide to the germination water to soften the shell. It seems ppl are having tap root pop but cotyledons needing help to get out.

All in all, it may be an age-old issue that we're only seeing discussed now due to the growing popularity of home growing.
