If you are having doubts with quality It cant be worst than still using HPS or MH. I grab a couple of items from Alibaba just last week, my only concerns in general is its either the items have some missing parts or it has to be something lol. But ill give them another try for a kingbrite, i think its just a matter of getting out of your comfort zone and they are trying there best to give customer satisfaction. Communication is just a bit hard specially when they transfer you to the "technical department" workers. Be ready to download wechat and get the sakes team number before ordering.

the kit says Epistar on the mono's, thats light speak for mid power, not high power reds used on higher priced boards, thats why they are cheap

Been using maxsisun lights. These look appealing with meanwell drivers and 301 diodes. Might give one a try!

Given the option I'd go for kingbrite, I've got 240w boards from both companies and the kingbright is a better board all round and hassle free.

Got 7 240 watts pannel and they work good after 3 years but the dimmer give only 60%power i just unplug and now its working at 100% .
From different seller i went for the cheapest meanwell and samsung diode

Buy a new 50 cent dimmer pot and you're good. No need to be a drama queen over it a tag me muffin.

If anyone has concerns about buying from alibaba you can use PayPal for your payment to kingbrite, it cost £4 but it's money well spent to alleviate any concerns.

Exactly what I did. Contact rep and have everything set in stone for price including tax, tarriffs, shipping costs. 2 240w panels cost me $285 USD from china to northeast coast… last January!

The dimmers are a major concern. Unless testing the watts, one doesnt know if the POS 50 cent dimmer has ruined the light. Avoid the dimmer problems everyone!!!!

Careful if you think the PayPal guarantee is all that. I got ripped off on Ebay for like $1100 bucks once and so I told PayPal. Well it was a bunch of bullshit what I had to go through first. I had to go talk to the cops and then USPS fraud division and was sent through many loops by PayPal. Finally they sent my $1000 since that's their limit. And there's a note in my account now about a disputed transaction. I was NOT impressed.
