Amare Shill
The Amare Monos showed the biggest, least curled leaves. Should be able to tell by the pics but i can take single letti close ups if you want?Of the three spectrums, which would you say is the most like the ones growing under sun?
The led's seem to have added a lot of curl almost looking like curled parsley
From vegging pot plants i notice they can only get so big in the 6" pott then all the leaves become very small as it gets older & caps out on branching, leaves+ roots. Then the leaves grow & stay small until i transplant then they explode. So I'm hoping that using bigger potts from the rip next time will help with the leaf size more as well as not cutting 3/4 off the roots before transplanting. Assuming they need the bigger pott for bigger leaves & total weight. I think they do. They also need adequate spacing. Like, just touching. Mine were cramped together. Potts touching. Not like the pics i showed recently where i spread them apart to put a tape on them for true size.
But ultimately, i do believe turning on & dimming the COBS - adding that 3-35k in a soft amount to the Monos, It will provide the best available spectrum i have on hand besides my Bar-6 LUV which includes the 380nm range.
Both the Primary Whites & HydroSlut showed allot of that rippled effect. Although if the size is still there i believe that just may equate to more nutritional food because of its density. Sure, letti is mostly water but you get my pint right? They stand tall crinkled & are wide & verry Full.
Gotta eat them to say but they look very Scrumptious in comparison to the bigger, longer, wider, flatter leaf of the Amare Monos. But idk what the letti should look like really. My sun ones took an outdoor beating.
And have they tested good led lettuce for nutritional value vs T-5 yet? Because they are broad, tall & dense. That must mean something, no?
