Whats good peeps! Ive recently started some pc growing, but still waiting around for a bagseed plant to pop (first attempt had 4 strong and super green, then lights fell and fried them all :wall:) That problem has been ghetto fixed though ha...

Anywyas I have not yet needed soil (starting with peat pellets), but when the time comes and I actually have a decent strain of bagseed that'll grow i need some good soil. Now I am not to interested in adding nutes if i dont have too, but instead to have a soil mix for the entire grow. Would a 2:1 ratio mix of fox farms light warrior/fox farms ocean forrest be sufficient?

Any and all advice would be much appreciated :bigjoint:

Check out subcools super-soil recipe.
After a month of veg it should cover you plants needs.

For the veg phase I recommand 40% compost (or worm castings if you can, manure compost if you can't), 40% coco or peat (I like coco better) and 20% perlite (number 4 is my preffered size. Don't use the small ones).

With enough pot volume you should be just fine.

Remember to dechlorinate your water if you supply is treated with chlorine. (put it in a bucket without a lid for 24 hours or bubble air through it with an air pump and air stone for 4 hours)

Yet, you should be on the lookout for deficiencies.

no. that would only get you 3-4 weeks. i would reccomend subcool's supersoil as well. if you dont want to mess with nutes this is the way to go. and dont think because it sounds easy that your results will be mediocre. you will have great results!!!

here is the link to his soil thread https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html

Thanks for the replies everyone...

What if I made a base soil of 2:1 Fox Farms Light Warrior/Fox Farms Ocean Forrest, but then I made a super soil with 1:1:1 of FFLW/FFOF/FF Planting Mix? I would also most likely add some perlite, but would I still need to let the super soil sit and mix? Or perhaps a different combination of these? Reading up on them it appears that between all of these it covers all the nutrients that I'll need for some awesome bud :weed:

PS: dont forget I'm doing a pc grow so the plants wont be growing more than 12in. give or take :bigjoint:
