Neat project man. When you say stabilize what are you referring to? And what characteristics are you breeding for?
thanks! the first parent had been bred to f7 decades ago and the current cross is, as stated, on f6. I selected for phenos that I felt best represented the best traits from both parentsnin terms of smell, flavor, and effects. there was no one specific trait I was shooting for, just a best of both worlds kind of thing. the results have been everything I hoped they would.

This is why I love growing weed. Im only getting started, but this is the stuff I daydream about. To see someone actually do it, with meaning and passion behind the science, both motivates and inspires me.

Will be keeping a close eye on this thread in the future. Can't wait to see where it goes. - TB

I really appreciate the kind words! cannabis has done so many wonderful for me in my life and this project kind of feels like kind of a love letter. an act of love for sure. I've put everything else on the back burner and have been working on this project nonstop for almost 3 years. I finally feel like I have the cross where I wanted it, and I have seed stock of both parents and multiple generations of the cross. I feel like soon I can go back to trying new strains in my garden. that being said, I will probably pheno hung the f2s again at some point to see if I can get another unique and interesting cross.
