i think you will get some nice big plants if u veg another 4 weeks under your 600hps. (strain and pot size depending) mine are in 18l pots.

They r sativa dominant but i have a few afgan in there i mixed the seeds by mistake so i can c the tall ones. Are the sativas the shorrter ones are the afgani

Actually I think he's gonna use the led for veg which is what they excel at for mj. You gotta spend good money if you want good LED for flower

LOL oh i know that one. I was checking out some nice LED setups... kind of ridiculous pricing in my opinion... but you always get what you pay for in that sense

I agree guys ill be using for veg also not to flow hid are the best for flower what setup are u gonna use

i got 400hps, and 400watt MH in the flowering room. so 800watts of dual spectrum's. They are loving it

lol why not juss not even go soil nd try hydroponics. i hear hydro plus scrog has amazing results.

Really depends on what you're looking for....if you're looking to PUSH, then hydro def yields more....but if you're a weed connoisseur, soil definitely tastes better. There's also situations where hydro sucks....like if you buy the Supercloset Superbox, like I have...the hydro setup sucks because the pump doesn't completely drain the res, and it's DWC....and it's a pain to try to maneuver the plants around for best lighting esp when the light is so close to the plants.

Hey guy need some help i think i over watered my plants the leaves wher looking curly so i watered them but no they are drooping could it be my ph or is this due to too much water please help

You dont need to start nutes yet you need to repot it into a bigger pot you want that plant to have atleast 3 or 4 sets of alternating branches and a good root system before you give it nutes it doesnt look like it needs it now cause its not looking defficent you being a noobie you should try not to start getting all jacked up on nutes and end up killing your plant and what ozzy said about piss is one of the dumbest things i have heard piss is acidic and mary jane dont like acidic shit on her roots there wouldnt be any thing beneficial from the piss it is sterile but its not gonna give your plants any good nutrients

if your leaves are drooping and clawing then its too much water you want to let your pots dry out inbetween watering so that you dont have wet roots that never dry out cause this can cause mold man you need to start reading some of these posts on here start doing some research your not gonna learn anything if your spoon fed anything i didnt put a post on this site until i was starting flower and my plants were veggin for 7 weeks start doing your dillegence and quit being lazy

They werent over watered they didnt have enough circulation so over watering waasnt the prroblem some people just skip to conclusion btw I have dont alot of research and that is what forums are for for people to help hence th eforum titlernewbie central not everyone is as clever as you are right pumpkin

Thanks guys for all you input I just had one of my fans break down and was no cirulation in the tent I thought they where over watered also but they werent didnt no leaves droop when there is no circulation I thought they would shrivel up the other way :S thats what makes me a newbie but some people are born with a grow book in their hand lol

I need to arrange my ph of my soil and water it is currently 5.5 which is acidic i cant find any ph down is it possible to addbicarbonate of soda I used reverse osmosis and tried adding and there was no change is this normal or is my new ph meter f**ked

Hey man, I don't know about you, but I like comparing pictures. All cannabis plants look a little different and very unique so it's interesting to see.

I am also on my 1st grow (Day 3 of flower today), but here's a pic of one of my plants on March 11th when it was also a month (30 days) old.

My guess is your lighting. Forgive me if you've already answered this question somewhere on this thread, but what all do you have for your lights??

no i used flourescents for the ones in this tread not leds but next time I am gonna use higher wattage

So yeah, there's your answer. That many plants under a small lumen count will grow slow..

i cant understand what difrence it makes for the plants as they where in a line when they where seedlings across the flourescents all getting equall lighing
how does the wattage per plant work exactly i never found any info also now they are under 600w dual spec and still no big growth :S i have 4 plants under my flourescents is that ok for seedlingsthey broke the soil in a day
