Almost Harvest. A Few n00b Questions.

I have never grown outdoors and was wondering if there is any loss of trics in the wind and rain, and if there is a way to prevent it?

I know that for most strains you need to wait 60 days from flowering to harvest, is that 60 days from when preflowers appear or from when buds actually start to form?

Can brown sugar, cane sugar, or even white sugar be used in substitution for molasses during fllowering?

1. Finishing times begin when the plant start budding.

2. Weather elements can reduce trichs. As an indoor grower, I'm not too sure how outdoor growers deal with this.

3. Raw(unrefined) sugar can be used but it's no substitute for molasses. You should be able to find it at any grocery store unless you're in the UK.
