almost ready to harvest and i need to know

i need to know if i can cut off the upper branches by the Main stem (BTW it is a six footer with 17 colas/ stalks) , because it looks like the upper buds will mature first, but i dont want the plant to die , and i need the other mid level and lower buds to finish maturing , or do i wait until all the buds are fully mature ( 85% brown / orange) then cut the whole thing down ?

It's called Selective Harvest, and yes it is ok. People do it all the time. You just harvest the buds as they mature to your liking.

What strain? Soil or hydro? Nutes? How long for veg and flower?

sativa , outdoor grow six feet tall , 17 stalks full of buds , second month of budding

where are you outdoors where its been budding for two months?

believe it or not im in florida , it grew 5 feet in two months then started budding in June , maybe it is one of those autoflowering , i dont know , but its in its second month of budding and some pistils are turning brown , i figure two to three more weeks before it done,
