it did slow her growth at first trim but seems like she loves it now. it's her 11th node now
People say this all the time and it just doesn't make any sense to me. A plant vigorously growing back what you remove, or growing more leaves in other areas to compensate, doesn't mean it is happy it just means it is putting energy into replacing what you removed.

Think of the leaves as solar panels. When you remove them you are removing the overall amount of available energy to the plant. Leaves provide energy to the entire plant, and bud sites have so little photosynthesis going on in them, that removing fan leaves that shade them does more harm than good.

Should keep the leaves on the strong nodes and remove the branch and leaf of the weaker ones. Top it aswell if you really want it to focus on branching

Asking if you did it right, after it's already done is kinda irrelevant. If you really wanted to know if what your going to do is actually going to helping your plant , than you should have posted prior to doing any new techniques. The plant will recover in time. But could have been growing instead of recovering. ;)

Or were you just asking about Lst ?
