My defoliation and low stress training on my autoflowers. [First pic.] LSD 25.
I start removing stems and leaves that are in the way of my light for bottom growth when the plant can ( I think? ) handle the stress without slowing it down much. ( Day or two. ) I continue to do this throughout grow every week or two, as if? needed.

First ? is it allright to start D foliating this early on?
Does it hurt plant to do it so often?
Any special care after pruning?
How far down should I take branches off?
How far back ( or in. ) should I trim off sproutung brances?16866355418943925160076337255191.jpg

Honestly that looks good as is with the training opening her up. I don’t see a need to defoliate. It’s the leaves that are sticking out from the bud sites (with the long stem) that reach out and catch light for that site if it’s in a shadow. The more leaves getting hit by light the better imho.

so, would you add days onto the growing guide from the breeder if you've stripped it of its energy power stations, or keep timings roughly the same. the plant has to bounce back and you've just removed loads on its little power stations, wondered if it's worth it with auto's

I only clean up the bottoms a little of Autos other than that I dont train or defoliate them. Autos grow best if just left alone. They dont live long enough to bounce back from stress and still give a nice yield. Photos you can do all that cause all you have to do it just let them veg for another week or two before flipping the lights. Autos you dont have that option.

The plant looks great just feed it and nurture it and it will come out great.
