Am I on time? Flowering pics!!!!!

I present to u my Jack errer, tey have been flowring for 6 weeks now under a 400 watt hps. Its my fisrt grow and Im simply wondering if im on time because the buds seem pretty small?

Ill let u guys judge:?

They are coming along, dont get restless and want to cut earlier, because the most bud production can happen in the last 2 weeks of flowering. Jack herer is a great smoke, i hope you enjoy those.

yes those are looking good, keep up the patience and you will have some great smoke. just make sure that on your 12hrs of lights out there is no light pollution getting to the plants and that they remain in total darkness.

Those buds are very small for that age.
what is their environment like? Temp, humidity?

That honestly doesn't look six weeks into flower.
You look to have 6 weeks to go.
But it's likely closer to 4 weeks to go.

The only explanation I can deduce is that you started flowering too early, and or, you put the light too far away.
The plants have been spending resources on stretching and not flowering.

Temps is at 24 degrees celcius and humidity is arround 40-50% the light was always kept very close to the plants

I agree they look a little stretched, but you cant be sure that something is wrong with the environment. It could be the seeds' genetics. And flowering stages can differ in length for nearly every marijuana plant you ever grow, unless its a clone.

I'm just looking for possible variables in the equation.
This is somewhat of a science.:weed:

true. but its still a little early to judge. However, I would definitely suggest some lights more fit for flowering. Jack herer is an indica dominant plant, and shouldnt be stretching like crazy during the flowering process

Edit: didnt ntocie you had some HPS already. you might want to move them closer to the plants, for maximum succes :)

If you have the flowering nutrients, start them now, and dont use more than recommended, incase of nutrient burn. Start flushing out the soil once the time comes

Just use the nutrients as recommended.
You may try to slowly up your dosage but your plants will be at risk of nutrient burn,
nutrient lockout, saltbuildup, dead plants!
Your yeild is yet to be determined.
As long as you don't see signs of maturity soon,
they will get bigger.
How big.....I have know idea.

It will probabaly make it smaller than it could have been. Growth nutrients and Flowering nutrients are relatively the same, just in different concentration. Nutrients like potassium and nitrogen will be different volumes in fertilizers from growth to flowering.

man, those plants look very healthy.. but very small buds for 6 wks i think the bud production would have been a lot more by now if you would have used a bloom nutrients. . phosphorus and potassium are key when starting to flower and during the flowering period. excess nitrogen can delay flowering and bud production if left to accumulate..

i didnt post that as a reply to what you said.. sorry if it sounded like it. im just trying to say that feeding the veg nutes definatly had an affect on the way the plant is flowering, and the excess N in veg nutes could very well be playing a role in the delay of flowering production.
