amending old black gold to make kinda super soil?

We have a bunch of old 7G fabric pots filled with Black Gold soil from last years tomato garden.
As we are preparing for Spring, I am getting all my soil ready. In addition to some Coots style soil from scratch, I would like to amend and reuse this soil from last year.

I'm thinking of putting in some compost/EWC and then adding amendments ALA Coots, and letting it sit for about a month.
Being that there were tomatoes in last year, but no salt ferts or anything, does it seem logical to go this route and use the soil as somewhat of a substrate with a light series of amendments?
