I have no reason to take an anti-depressant but I have always taken 5 HTP when I do certain substances.
like MDMA.
just recently I have done a lot of research on AMORYN. an anti-depressant and used for inducing sleep.
apparently it provides 5 HTP, vitamin B6, and hyperforin.

I am a very light sleeper as well and have heard/read that AMORYN can help with sleep but cannot be relied upon due to its "getting used to" after a few weeks.
I also would like to have my serotonin levels back up to date. which is why I use 5HTP.
this is the main reason I am asking this question...
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
-Most people do not experience any negative side effects when taking AMORYN. Side effects, when they do occur, are typically mild.
-Mild side effects may include headache, abdominal pain, diarrhea, insomnia, fatigue, dizziness and dry mouth. Taking AMORYN with food may minimize some of these side effects.
-AMORYN may increase the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. Individuals with fair skin or extreme sensitivity to sunlight should use extra sunblock.
-When taken as directed above, AMORYN has no known serious and/or life-threatening side effects.
-Clinical research suggests that the ingredients in AMORYN are generally better tolerated than synthetic SSRIs and tricyclics.

it seems there are no negative life threatening side effects.
or at least in my opinion.
what do you all think?
is AMORYN a good or bad idea for serotonin re uptake and sleep aid (ONLY FOR OCCASIONAL USE) for the occasional drug user????
