An experiment with the veg/flower cycle

I'm curious about an experiment that may or may not ever been done (although I'm sure it has) that goes like this:
Put a 3"seedling under 18/6 halide intil it is 6" tall.
Put the plant under 12/12 HPS until it is 12" tall.
Put the plant under 18/6 halide intil it is 18" tall.
Put the plant under 12/12 HPS until it is 30" tall.
Put the plant under 18/6 halide intil it is 36" tall.
Keep the plant under 12/12 HPS until maturity.
I know this sounds like plant torture, but what would that plant look like? Would it yield anything after so many veg/flower cycles?

Going from veg to flower then back again would cause the plant to mutate. I have seen plants that have gone from 18/6 to 12/12 then back to 18/6 and they grow all sorts of crazy ass leaves (like single fan leaves or no serrated edges). I would not recommend this method to increase yeild but if you have a nice mother that you want to put back into veg you can do it.
