Annual or Perennial?

Is pot an annual or perennial? If it's left from year to year (outdoors) will it continue to grow or will I need to plant each year?
Maybe a stupid question, but have never grown it before

No it won't continue to grow outdoors as the temperatures are to low throughout the winter, however I heard you can keep a plant alive as long as you want under lights.

They are annuals. You can keep a plant indoors slightly over a year before it starts to die I believe. Some people have flowered more than once off one plant. Whether or not it was worth it, I don't know and I'd guess probably not. But there is that option. You're much better off starting a new grow though.
