Another Athena Pro Question

Hello all just bought my first pack of Athena Pro dry nutrients. Does anyone know how long this will last in a sealed drum (in terms of quality) once made up into a stock solution.
Many thanks.

Depending on the chelates stability, you're looking at 4-12 months. Even if you start to get a small amount of precipitant, the solution is still usable.
If you mix stocks 4 times a year at 75% saturation you should never run into problems.

Must admit I wish I had never seen Athena Pro, cost me dearly. Back onto GH Trio, using GH's own MEDIUM FEED chart, ratios and EC, they have never looked so well.

Yeah I took a $160 L buying into Athena Pro. I don't even wanna waste my time talking shit about them so I've moved on but man their stock concentrates are way less concentrated than advertised and the fact you have to use 3.0 EC from what I hear is not good at all. That just tells me how diluted their solutions are. Also the fact they give away hundreds or maybe thousands of pounds of their fertilizer to instagram growers tells me someone is paying for that free shit and its us. Also, if your product is so high quality why would you give it away? Athena is known to give away more fertilizer than any company I've seen in 5 years.

GH flora also does great for me but I wish it didn't have the dyes. I just use the micro & bloom. 2.25ml of m, 2.5ml bloom per 1.5L for flower.
Will probably pick up jacks with cal nit for my next grow.

If you like Flora have you looked into Maxi?

I ran Athena just during flower (core + bloom) last year, it was alright, but the solubility was less than desirable, it took a ton of stirring to dissolve. I switched to Jack's + Epsom salts and it has been much easier to work with. It's blue, though, so it's probably got some dyes in it.

Solubility of athena's Bloom is horrible. I used a power drill with a paint stirrer on it and there was still a lot of white sediment, even adding some hot water didn't help.

Yes, I got my buddy hooked on it but I'm getting away from dyes.
Maxi works very good.
As the above comment said. Jacks has dyes in it too. Maxi has very minimal. I ran Jacks RO formula with epsom salts for almost a year and ended up back to maxibloom, armor si & calimagic. I buy the maxi by the 16 lb tub.

My yields were not great with Jacks, if I were to run jacks again it would be their 321.

Jacks is not dyed. Some salts in the mix are not bleach white but the product is not dyed like: Mircal gro, GH, foxfarms etc..
Unless you're talking something besides the 5-12-26 maybe?

I ran their 12-4-16 RO formula for a couple runs and it would leave blue stains on grey containers. Pretty sure it had dye in it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly I dont know if the plant can uptake pigments/dyes anyways.

He's probably thinking of the 5-12-26, which has no dye.
I used the 15-6-17 for a run and it had a powerful infusion of blue dye. I really did not like it very much.
