another deficiency

So do you mean that if the ph drops too low that it can allow the Ca and S to combine and precipitate from the solution in the form of gypsum? But if the ph is optimal then it has less chance of this happening? Thanks again

Yep. Things screw up if the pH gets too high as well. Mostly micro-nutrients like Zn, Fe etc that cause the newest growth to start screwing up first.

Whats a good up to date book i can read. Id like to find somthing that can teach me more about the chemicals/reactions how to and what not to do's. Im lacking critical information about these fertilizers.

I found a great spot to download
FREE POT BOOKS . I downloaded a grow bible first and got lots more. Books look great and complete like the real ones I have here. No web site but just a page of links. Just right click on what you want and then "Save Link As" to download so they don't open first as some are 50+ megs. They got lots. Enjoy.

Jorge Cervantes has a good beginner one in there.

:peace:

Thats alot of books. Thankyou!! I actually have a cannabis bible Its atleast 7 years old. I really want to find a book that explains what you can and cant mix/do etc everything about hydroponic nutrients/addatives. I will spend some time reading throught those books too.

About how long does it take to come back from a Cal def. The small spots are starting at the tips of the sugar leafs now. I started adding calmag to the water first before i add nutrients.i keep the ppm around 850 it seems to stay constant at that. Does the damage progress more for a few days. It seems like its still spreading.

I found my lines got stopped up and water would not flow right. I found some buckets only had quarter inch of water while some had 8 inches of water. Lesson learned
