View attachment 1293859 this is my setup. my question is, I have my water pumping to drip sticks and the timer set for 1 hr off half hour on. What I dont have drawn in there is a check valve between pump and main feed line to control pressure. My actual question is, should I have the water running continuously or is 1 hr off 1/2 hour on ok, also what type of volume/pressure should i have coming out of the drippers?

Ok so I am In 4 in Net pots, Plants are anchored is 2.5 in blocks of rockwool surrounded by hydroton. They are in 5 gallon buckets. The drip enters the top of the net pot via a drip stake. Roots are hanging in air until they hit the bottom 2.5 inches where the water sits and drains back to the rez.

Yeah raise the pots so they drain completely, and as long as you don't have any over/under watering signs just keep the schedule your on.

Im not sure I can get that last little bit of water to drain at all, the drain hole is just like an inch or so above the bottom of the bucket. So only when the drip is going does it recirculate... I never even thought of that. Maybe ill just get some h2o2 from the dro shop and run it in my nute mix, that might stop it from becoming stagnant, or I could just run it continuously, but that would run the risk of overwatering them seeing as how the rockwool is just perfectly damp now on the schedule its on... too many conundrums argghhh
