Hey guys 
Well Im starting my first grow with some friends. I have very little experience actually growing (one of my friends used to grow), but I have been browsing this forum for almost 6 months now. I finally decided to order some seeds. I would love any help or advice anyone could give me along the way. I picked a pretty difficult strain (I found out it was after I bought them), so now I've been kinda panicking.
heres my basic deal:
I bought 5 feminized Barney's Farm Tangerine Dreams, and I got a freebie autoflower as well. I did see a couple grow journals about this strain, and it appears to be somewhat picky.
I have a solid location, Ill be using CFL's for lighting and Im only gonna grow two plants to start.
I got the seeds, and plan on germinating in the next couple days.
I also plan on using soil. I dont see much advice about using soil, so I would love any tips with that.
And nutes! What are some solid all-around fertilizers or food or nutes that are somewhat easy to find (like maybe Home Depot)? My friend said miracle grow, but I dont know about that...
This will sound stupid, but do I have to feed my plant nutes? Or can I just regularly fertilize the soil?
One other main question I have is about "topping". Im pretty sure these TD can get really tall, so besides flowering early I was wondering how keep it short. What about LST? another term I didnt recognize.
Anyway those are basically my pre-grow questions. Any help or even links would be appreciated. Seriously thanks!
