So how long does it typically take for plants to show signs of what sex they are?
Another plant sex question....

Under 12/12 lighting it can take anywhere from approx 5 days to a couple weeks. Look for the hairs.

I am pretty sure I have balls on one plant already, day 5 of 12/12, and the other 4 look like hairs but I was thinking maybe it was to early to tell and it was just maybe wishful thinking... I will check again tomorrow and see if any more have balls...
Don't be too quick to jerk a plant just cause you think its a male - sometimes new growth can trick you. When you see the hairs/bananas you will know for sure.

Here you go. Be patient - even if you have a male, he isn't going to pollinate your girls the second he shows sacks.
