another silly root rot question

I have a small case of root rot. The problem is that it is at the top of my roots and all the roots underneath it and all the way to the bottom is still good. I read the best way to go is to just cut the roots. I am using a waterfarm system and i have one major set of roots coming out of the bottom. I am about 4weeks in. If i cut the mass of roots off because of the root rot will this greatly effect my baby?? All help is appreciated.

cutting roots always stunts growth...but since the rot is at the top i suggest cutting now..an running a small amount of h2o2 to help kill the rot....clean everything...your in veg i assume...just continue on...peace az

Actually im just about 5days until i switch to 12/12. I was gonna see if i can just pull her through. Also the rot is at the top of my roots there is about a good 12inches of roots hanging underneath the effected area, it just hasnt spread downward yet, is there any way to slow the spread?

trust me..when it comes to molds an fungus..its better to chop an bail then try an treat...wait like 2-3 more weeks till flip so the roots can rebound...just my opinion tho...peace az

Sounds good, but i think i may take a few clones just in case she doesnt make it
