Any Advice/Help/Comments On My First Grow?

Ok this is my first grow and they are about a month a half from seeds. (Strain is White Rhino) I'm using a 1000 Watt HPS Lamp in a grow tent. Im using a GH Rainforest that holds 15 Gallons of water. I only use RO water, and as for nutes Im using GH Flora. They are still on 24/7 and I started to notice some yellowing on the tips of the leaves and new growth. Can Anyone help me get rid of this problem before it gets worse. I added about 4 Gallons of water and stopped adding nutes to see if it would change anything.

Seems like you're on the path to success! Unfortunetly most people on RIU are asshole and don't like to help others out because they're too good for everyone else but you deff look like u got q dope set up. I see u I've in Denver, as do I! I want to open up an Amsterdam style coffee shop/lounge here!!! I was looking for some of ur ideas on what u would like to see as far as set up design oxygen bar? Vaporizers hookahs? What would you like to see in this esablishment?

that last one is a monster of a plant i love the bushy plants i wouldn't worry about the spots they don't look serious good job mate

ur plants look spot on man, good job.. and u flushed for the yellowing so all good...
who's white rhino are they?

Hello. I grow white rhino too. I'm happy to see someone else here that's growing my favorite strain as well. Don't you just love how big and bushy they get?? Wait till you start flowering, you're going to be amazed!!!

Anyways, I also use GH Flora nutes. Are you using the Lucas formula, or what the bottle's suggest? If you're using what the bottles suggest, then you're nutes are probably running a bit hot and you're just seeing a bit of nute burn at the tips of your plants.

I use the lucas formula and my girls stay healthy from veg to flower. As long as I keep my pH between 5.3 and 5.8 they flourish!!!

If you're not sure about the lucas formula, here is what I am talking about:

8ml/gal water Flora Micro
16ml/gal water Flora Bloom
Leave out the Flora Gro, you don't need it.

I mix this with 12 gallons of water, and don't change my nutes out until they've drank 12 gallons of fresh water.

So for me right now, my girls drink about 1 gallon of water a day. After they've had 12 gallons of water added (basically 12 days) I mix up a fresh batch of nutes.

This seems to work PERFECTLY for me. I hope this helps. Message me if you have any other questions about the strain.
