Any idea what insect and how to treat?

I've noticed these on my outdoor plant.
Seem to always find 1 or 2 on there. They hang around the stem. I'm 5 weeks into flower so unsure if I should spray so avoiding.
Any advice appreciated.

Leaf hoppers can be detrimental to an outdoor crop. They lay egg clusters that look like someone hocked a lougie right into the stem where the leaf comes out. Hate them jumpy little fuckers. They'll always be around, but you don't want them taking up residence on your plant and filming 'it's a bugs life 2' on it.

They are jumpy and hard to catch, and their bodies or whatever are pretty hard- not always easy to crunch between fingers, even when you can catch them.

I think what he has is a buffalo tree hopper.

I had them along with leaf hoppers on a plant last summer. Not sure which it was, but something was causing damage.

In my outdoor grows i have never had one hang around long enough to be a problem.
Took a pic of that one cuz it was good lookin for a bug.
We need to stay vigilant against the harmless leaf hopper. They are spreading cannabis specific disease around the world not a joke, whole hemp farms are being hit with photoplasma blight type shit. I’ve seen it in mixhigan now multiply times as the spread is coming south from Canada

The ones I notice are usually lime green or a uniform brownish color. I haven’t noticed any amount of them to cause much if any damage. Are you not treating outdoor plants anyway? Serious question, what is a cannabis specific disease? I didn’t realize there were diseases that only affected mj

Good read. It’s actually a local article for me. Hops latent virus ill have to look into that more but im not aware of any outdoor commercial grows in mass doesn’t mean there isn’t any. I wonder if it’s connected to the huge boom in micro breweries and such in this state in recent years?

I only seem to see maybe one on the plant or two at a time. I squash them if can. I guess between that and my yellow sticky traps I can keep under control for the last 4-5 weeks.
Would be larger to control issue if had a few plants
