Any news on the New Samsung strips?

Does anyone know the efficiency of the atreum 4ft strips? And besides the price point are they still good up to date lights? Looking to build an 8-12 4ft bar light, and I really like the added red and 3500k ending spectrum on these similar to the qb 96v2.

They haven’t published any 3rd party testing yet. And they haven’t started shipping them out yet so no one has had hands on them.

What’s advertised is top of the line.
Their other products are top of the line as well and have proven this thru 3rd party testing.

I have several of their 144.2 boards that use the same diodes as their new strips, and they have well exceeded my expectations.

Yes they are excellent aside from the price. If price is not an issue then go for it. Efficiency will be close to any other Lm301b light.

Logic pucks and elites are also great if you like having the added red ( or blue with the pucks).

Nice thanks for the info. Any idea when they’ll start shipping? Currently running nine qb 96v2 and am loving them. Wanted to give some strips a try. Was looking at PLC strips, should be back in stock within the next month or two, also wanted to wait and see what HLG releases as well. So far I’m digging Atreums strips over PLC’s

I swear the atreum strips were in stock but not sure. The elites are pretty damn awesome. You won't see much benefit from the strips over them but it's certainly on par with them.

As for PLC, I don't know too much about them but I'm guessing its will be in the same ballpark as far as cost and efficiency.

They do appear to be in stock and it allows me to go to checkout with them, nice. Yeah the elites are great I’m running them at 80-90w each to keep them cool but just wanted to tryout some strips. PLC strips are 3000k Samsung 301 diodes pulse the added red with about 2.7 efficiency. An 8 bar 4ft build with drivers and frame only runs about 750$ but as I said, I like the 3500k spectrum like the elites and atreum strips. At 80-90w I’m getting about 2.5 efficiency from my elites, I prefer more lights at lower wattage for higher efficiency which sounds like strips to me idk anyways thanks tho!

Same. My first Diy build was with Vero C's running at 120 w each. This requires active cooling. Ended up paying for in the long run. Learned my lesson when one of the cobs burned out.

by anychance do you have a par reading of your qb96 running at 80 - 90 watts. i was wanting to get three for my 2x3 and was wondering if running them at lets say 80 watts and then two strips one on both sides of the qb96 would be too much light. one of these strips Nichia V3 3000K 48 4000k 48 White with 660nm Deep Red(12) for the blue light during flowering and then one of these strips for intense flowering Nichia V3 2000K(96) White with 400nm(12). strips from cutter.com.au

The whites are Lumileds and the Reds/Deep reds are Luminous
Hey man, I know this is a lil older but I been reading through the threads and cant find which lumiled diodes exactly they are. Also which reds? I would like to make something using those diodes. if you could help me that would be amazing
