Any reason to NOT use coco fiber pots to start?

Coconut fiber pots bound with " natural " latex - you start your seeds in them and then insteead of transplanting you just drop the whole pot into a bigger pot and the first pot breaks down in the soil- seems great as a low-stress transplant, I just wonder if they leech anything into the soil?

Anyone have any experience with these?

Ok I will bite the bullet and use these in a couple of days when I germ . I'll let you know what happens.

use coco fiber at a 75% ratio to 25% earth worm castings...then after a few weeks you'll say what I said...Oh My Fucking God! Look how fast my shit grew!
