3rd week into flowering and babies stretched too much, tops got badly burnt. trimed off dead leaves after taken pics. Im 90% sure this is a lightburn, cus only the tops got burnt, but if any of u think this is a nuteburn or u simply have solutions to it, whatever u say, I'd be happy to listen.

(can't lift up light no more, tie down the tops will reduce canopy for the lower budsets, I'm so worried about that it's gonna burn the top budsets and stop growth, which are gonna be the biggest buds off the plants. I need suggestions badly, don't know how to proceed, watching em dying!)

It looks like light burn to me. How big and far away is your light from the plants? After a second look it is possible nutrient toxification. The burn is on the top leaves and the lower leaves have the dreaded craw drooping. This is could not be from light burn.

the tops were touching the hood so I dragged em down a bit, now they're about 2'' away from the hood

ye I thought of that but I don't have another light and enough room for clones....this was supposed to be a scrog, but I had problems and messed up, so went back a normal flowering.

U don't need another light and don't worry bout clones...if those plants grow and they will grow too far towards the light ur not gonna have any buds let alone anything else.

ooooooooh nooooooooo.... I really hate to do that..... but hey, after I tied em down last time, they didnt grow any taller in the last few days, does it mean they stopped stretching? or just a pause? if they completely stopped stretching and I keep em 2'' away from the light all the way to harvest, will the buds be still forming larger? what do u think?

Sounds like wishful thinking and I hope it works out for you it's just that you have no plan B
I wish I had plan B.... Or simply built my tent taller and suitable for normal grow.... Im just gonna leave it be and see what's gonna happen in next week
thanks for ur opinion though!
