any tips before plants bud?

should i top them a little before they bud?

I wouldnt top close to flowering. Just tie down the main branch(s) if heights a concern. And doing so will give you more bud sites

I allways top in veg. if your about to flower you can super crop them. also I have toped them 2 seeks into flowering after they stretch. it never hurt my yield

I top my plant about week to two weeks before flowering. that way the can fill out. When it comes flowering time..the plant still grows but now it's wider/filled out and got nice fat bud cones on the top from topping
