Anybody have success at completely getting rid of Russet mites?

Just found out the deviating news that I have russet mites in my veg room.

I have plants grown out from seed that I put a lot of work into and I was getting ready to put them in flower, so it is painful to have to destroy all of them.

Does anyone have experience with actually winning the battle against russet or broad mites?

Last time I had a mite issue I cut the plants down into clones and isolated them from each other in containers of soapy water...see pic below for example...each plant was an island of sorts...so if any tried to get to or from they first had to rough the water...so spreading was stopped.
Then just do proper management of the clones...any signs of new mite damage toss it and immediately do another treatment to the remaining clones.
I'm a little OCD and also washed the entire room and every piece of equipment before it went back in grow room and then wiped it all down every few days again or if new damage was found.
Best of luck they are nasty, but with persistence they can be beat. :P

That is what I'm wanting to do, take just a few of the best plants and take clones from them. But, before I did that I would spray the plants with some nasty stuff, then cut clones and isolate them. But how can I be sure that the clones don't still have the mites when they are ready to go into the veg room?
